| Banjo The hero of the game, Banjo, is as strong as he is goofy. While not really excited about going chasing after Grunty like this, he gradually warms up to the idea. Aided with his magical backpack, this bear will prove to be up for any challenge Grunty dishes out. Kazooie Attitude. Kazooie is as sarcastic as they come, and she doesn’t know when to keep her beak shut. Nevertheless, it’s her sense of adventure that has led to your current adventure. You can’t hold that against her! Jamjars The brother of the deceased Bottles will take his place in this journey. Rather than Bottles molehills, you’ll be searching out Jamjars’ Hatches when it’s time to learn a new move. Just be sure and have the right number of Musical Notes, you don’t want to upset this military man. Mumbo Jumbo Apparently beaten with an ugly stick by Gruntilda, this horrible looking shaman has grown close to Banjo and Kazooie as they go after the evil witch. Unlike in the earlier game, someone let the Mumbo out of the Skull this time around. Put his advanced magic to good use, it will often be the difference in success and failure. Humba Wumba The female counterpart of Mumbo’s, Humba Wumba is a lovely girl who resides in a teepee. You may never be able to take control of her, but what she helps you to become is worth every visit. Be sure and visit her when it’s time to go somewhere Bears and Breegulls aren’t allowed. Honey B Located in the Plateau area of Isle O’ Hags, this helpful creature will trade you Honeycomb Pieces for extra blocks of energy. Her prices increase as you continue to trade with her, so be sure and keep an eye out for those Honeycomb Pieces. Gruntilda No game is complete without an evil witch, and Banjo-Tooie is no exception. Left to rot in a shallow grave in the first game, Grunty has been brought back to life by her wicked sisters–sort of. You see, she’s nothing but a bag of bones. If Banjo and Kazooie don’t stop her from her evil plans, she’s going to use the life force of others to put some meat on her bones. Master Jiggywiggy When it’s time to visit a new world, this is the man you need to see. Chilling out in his temple in the Wooded Hollow area, Master Jiggywiggy will put you to a puzzle challenge should you have enough Jiggies to partake. Complete the puzzle in the 100 seconds he gives you and he’ll use the powerful Crystal Jiggy to "show you the way". King Jingaling This happy go lucky King of Jinjo Village, gets zombified by the sucking action of the B.O.B machine early on. Nevertheless, he offers you up a Jiggy in hopes of convincing you to help return his kickball players, err… I mean citizens. |
