William Thomas Gamel Jr. (Will) is the 5th child of William and Mary Ann Gamel. Will was born 6/12/1845 in Yorksville, Georgia. Will died in 1924 in Sylacaga, Alabama. He is buried in the Gamel plot in the old cemetery in Sylacaga, Al. Will enlisted 9/25/1861 in Campbelle County, Georgia. He was with the C-Company of the 30th Division Ga.-Regt. He was paroled in Greensboro, N.C. in 1865. After serving 4 years he returned home and married Selma(Selina?)Anderson in 1867 in Paulding County, Georgia. Selma was born 9/22/1851 in Ga. died 3/19/1925 in Sylacauga, Alabama. She is buried beside her husband.
