The fourth child of William and Mary Ann, a son John B. born 1844 in Yorksville, Georgia. He enlisted in the Civil War in Georgia in September 1861. He was killed January 25, 1862, after only six months of service. He was married to Elizabeth Motes. Less than a year after John married he was killed. John and Elizabeth had no children. |
