As soon as the game starts, carve up the warriors that are in the room with you by using your Athena's Blades. Pay no attention to the Colossus of Rhodes and his temper tantrum because he can't hurt you... yet. Once the room is cleared of enemies, proceed to the next room by lifting up the metal door to your left. The stone giant will sock his fist through the building up ahead, creating a route for you to go in. Before you climb the ladder in the room, shatter the crates and the other objects in the room to release the red orbs stored inside of them. You will need to gather as many of these as possible because they are needed to upgrade your various blades and magic. Killing enemies also gives you red orbs.
Ascend the ladder and drop down below where you will have to face the Colossus. Press Right and Left with the right analog stick a split-second before the hulking enemy belts you with his mighty hand. As soon as his hand his the ground, unleash the Wrath of Poseidon on his hand by pressing L2 and then Circle repeatedly to increase the magic's power and radius. An onslaught of light and heavy attacks is also effective. Don't concentrate too much on the warriors as they are more of a distraction than a genuine threat.
After the Colossus has taken a significant beating, he will appear fatigued, hanging his head down. This is the time to jump up to the platform to your left and fire the boulder into his kisser by pressing R1 next to the massive ballista. Load yourself into the weapon next and press Circle until you launch yourself into his face. Next, press Square as soon as you are prompted to do so for a total of four times. If you do not press the buttons fast enough, the concrete goliath will grab you and hurl your body to the ground. There is also a chest located behind the ballista that you can open if you have taken some damage or want to refill you magic gauge. The chest will alternate between green for health orbs and blue for magic orbs.
