Hello friends and fans. You are entering the magical world of Final Fantasy X-2. Yuna's story continues as the disappearance of Tidus is extremely mysterious. I have spent a lot of time writing the FAQ/Walkthrough so that other gamers will have an easier and more enjoyable time with any information that is unclear to them in this game. I will cover every aspect of the game, and I will try to answer all of your questions during your gaming experience. Final Fantasy is a long and successful series. This game displays a new and excellent way of upgrading your characters, and it introduces another amazing story that will keep you hooked for as long as you can stand it. I am hoping to cover all of the aspects of the game in the faq, but some information may still be confusing or possibly even missing. If this is the case, you should go ahead and e-mail me. Let us move onto Yuna's "personal" adventure. Good luck, have fun, and good gaming. The Gullwings The Gullwings are Sphere Hunters, made up of Yuna, Rikku, and Paine. They are all relaxing after the "Calm" the period after Sin is destroyed. This period does not last forever. During this time Yuna has decided that she wanted to start finding spheres that hint at Spira's past. The beginning of the game reveals that she seems to have started to join the Gullwings when she found the sphere of a character who seemed to be Tidus, a crucial character in Final Fantasy X. Yuna is the central character in the game. She is the daughter of Lord Braska, a former summoner. She was a summoner that led a pilgrimage throughout Spira to stop the evil Sin. Eventually she was successful, and she is honored in all portions of Spira. Her main goal is to have fun and search for Spira's past before Sin, but she recently discovers a sphere with Tidus, or what seems to be Tidus. She is extremely excited to find more information about Tidus. Rikku Rikku is Yuna's cousin, and daughter of Cid, an Al Bhed. Her brother "brother" leads an airship called the Celsius around for easier navigation in Spira. She was a former guardian of Yuna during Yuna's pilgrimage to defeat Sin. Rikku is usually happy and carefree, but she does not seem to be the smartest of the bunch. Sometimes you do not even want to listen to her. Paine Paine is one of the mysterious characters in the game. She joined the Gullwings as a warrior before Yuna did. She reminds a lot of people of Auron, as she says little and seems to be wise when she speaks. She also has the most strength of the Gullwings. Legend says that she is seaching for spheres in order to discover something personal in her life. Leblanc Leblanc is your rival sphere hunter. She walks around with a gang of two characters, Logos and Ormi, who always get on your back and try to attack you. But, again and again, her sidekicks fail to beat you and will always be defeated by the powerful Gullwings, Yuna, Rikku and Paine. Leblanc's headquarter is located in Guadosalam in the old palace of Seymour. She has a lot of Goon servants and basically orders everyone around to do different tasks. That is basically all there is to Leblanc and her gang. the story in general Welcome to your airship. Your crew consists of Yuna, Rikku, Paine, Shinra, Buddy, and Brother. After the cutscene, talk to everyone. First Paine and Rikku to get some background on the characters. Then head over to Brother. He will give you three Al Bhed Primers (they decipher the Al Bhed language) and Buddy will give you one. Then talk to Shinra, the small kid to the right of the large sphere ball in the center of the room. Select Treasure Spheres from the list. Select "Journey's Start" to see an interesting scene with...ahh, see it for yourself. Then talk to Shinra again. Select the garment grid tuturial. If you complete this tutorial you will gain the Vanguard Garment Grid. Now, head to the back of the room, through the doors. You will aproach a save sphere. If you press X at these save spheres you can save your game. Do so at this moment. Now, head to the elevator opposite the door you came in. Select the Engine Room to obtain a few supplies. Head to the main section of the room and open the chests by pressing X. They contain: Ether, Remedy (x3), Phoenix Down (x4), and Potion (x4). Take the elevator to the cabin to complete a bit more. There will be a Hypello on the right. We all love how these creatures talk. Now, select the Gullstore.

I would recommend staying away from buying accessories because you will obtain
all of them for free at a later time. If you want, you can purchase some
potions for future emergencies. Anyway, once you are done buying, select rest.
You must sleep once every chapter in order to view certain events in chapter

Upon arriving you will see an interesting cutscene. Eventually you will get
control of Yuna. You will learn a new feature from FFx2, the climb. You can
press circle to climb and jump when running outside of battle. After climbing
the first rock, drop down and open the chest. You will get a YELLOW RING! Head
back up the rock and jump to the ledge with Rikku and Paine. Continue climbing
and head down to the save sphere. Save your progress.
Continue up to the machina and the elevator. Press the machina to activate the
elevator. The girls will all ride down. Head left and up the ledge to claim an
ELIXIR in a chest! Then head back to the elevator and up some more ledges. This
will lead you to a high road. Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi meet you once again.
They are searching for the same sphere! You must defeat them, and beat them to
the sphere.
you do not have to beat them to the sphere. if your time runs out they get stuck in some wet area allowing you to get to the sphere first.

How to Defeat: Make sure Yuna is equiped with the Songstress dressphere. Cast
darkness on all of the characters. Keep doing this on her turns, as it will
make the battle much easier. They will miss a lot. Also, steal accessories from
the three characters. It will save you a lot of Gil. Have Rikku and Paine do
chain attacks, with Rikku stealing first. This will eventually knock all three
of the enemies out...but not forever.
Ok, now head into the temple. Pass the jumps (as you can see, this is close to
a tutorial) to the otherside. You can drop below on the first pit to claim a
WHITE RING! Head throgh the tunnels and battle the same fiends I mentioned at
the top. They are all possible at any time.
Once you get out, Ormi will order some goons and recoils. Refer above to see
how to beat them. Then, head across the bridge. Midway, press circle to jump to
the platform. Head right all the way to the end to get a STAR PENDANT! Then
head back. Right after the place in which you jumped up here, jump to a ledge
to the right. Climb up and see those dumb sphere hunters hanging on for their
life. Use the save sphere here, and claim the MUSCLE BELT, a good accessory for
Paine. Head forward and get ready for a Boss battle to get your sphere!

How to Defeat: Make one character a Songstress, and the other two attackers.
Use Darkness everytime Boris is releaved from it. This will cause him to miss
more often than usual. Then, use chain attacks with a warrior and preferably a
gunner. Boris can take off close to 50HP at times, so you might want to use
potions. Simply click items and select potion to restore 200HP to one
character. Eventually Boris will die, and the sphere is yours!
You will be taken back to the airship. Brother will have jumped ship and needs
comfort, so choose that option when it asks you. Then speak to Shinra to view
the newly obtained sphere. You will get the BLACK MAGE DRESSPHERE! Now you can
cast spells on fiends. Then you will get two new HOTSPOTS, which are key places
that can advance you in the story. Try to visit other places in between in
order to gain 100% in the game. Don't worry, I will guide you from place to
place. Head to Besaid Island for the next mission.
As you enter the island and the save sphere, save your game. Now enter the
village to the left. You will approach a cutscene with Wakka. He will ask a few
questions, and you will catch up on past events. Wakka is becoming a father as
he lives with Lulu now.
After you talk with Wakka, head to into the right tent. Lulu should be waiting
in there. Talk to her and take a walk. You, again, will catch up with past
events. She asks you to stay the night, so do so. Once you wake up head outside
and meet up with Lulu. She will tell you that she is worried about Wakka
because he left for a cave that she does not know much about. She asks you to
check up on him. Of course, except the mission. Mission time!

To save some time, I will tell you that you must find the four secret numbers
to gain entrance to the cave. So, start by exiting the village and going the
opposite way. You will enter a three way section. The first secret number is on
the far right. Press X on the broken building. Then head north. Directly to
your right is the next number, but you must jump. Once up, press X to get the
second secret number. As you head across the bridges and roads you will come to
many different enemies. The folloing enemies may/may not approach you.

How to Defeat: You can't even attack these animals. They simply run away when
you encounter them.

How to Defeat: These animals are slow attackers, but deadly. They have moves
that can take away all of your HP except for 1. The best way to attack them is
to caste haste. Make sure you have a lot of turns. Just keep attacking or cast
spells. It does not have that high of HP.

How to Defeat: These fiends are easily defeated. They have a very low HP, and
can be attacked using almost anything. They are not weak to anything and they
have no MP. So the best way of killing them is attacking. Remember, they have
a lot of agility.

How to Defeat: These magical animals are best defeated using magic. They are
still pretty weak against warrior attacks, so they can be used as well. Also,
if you are low on MP, steal some from these creatures. They have a lot to
spare. Use thunder against these fiends, as they are extremely weak. Look at
the immunities for more information.

How to Defeat: These giants are fierce attackers with a lot of armour to top it
all off. So, if you have power break and armour break use them! This can really
take away all of the fiends power. Casting protect might be useful as well with
a white mage. Chain attacks are the way to go as magic is nothing to this
fiend.

How to Defeat: These beasts are easily defeated. I love using fire spells or
fire attacks against them because they are so weak to fire. Attacks still hurt
them pretty bad, so you can use chain attacks. I cast fire and then wait until
the fire will be used. Then I attack with a warrior. This chain attack takes
off maximum damage.

How to Defeat: These fiends have yet again, a low Hit Points. They are weak to
thunder, so you can cast thunder spells followed by warrior attacks to increase
the damage tremendously. Regular attacks will do here as well, because of its
terrible HP.

How to Defeat: These creatures are best attacked using regular attacks. They
have pretty good armour and decent attacks that take 50 or so HP. I like to
cast armour and power breaks. Then attack them with chain attacks and just cast
regular spells. They will go down with their small HP.

Now, head to the beach after the next blackout. To the left are two kids
playing. Jump up to where the high kid is and continue up to the third secret
number. Then head back down and go to the right. All the way at the back of the
beach past the dock is a grassy area. Jump up there and claim the fourth and
final number. Now, head back to where the temple door was. Enter the four
numbers and head in. You will meet up with Wakka who claim that there is a
sphere inside. You tell him that you will find it and he waits.
Head up the path and turn left. Remember, the fiends that you could encounter
are already listen above. You will get to a dead end with a chest containing
two potions. Head back and go the other way (right). Jump across the various
rocks. Use the save sphere that you approach to refill all lost HP and MP and
to save your game. Proceed forward to the sphere on the pedestal. Boss fight of
course!
