1080° Snowboarding

Flying Shortcut

Go to Dragon Caves and select it, when he says 'go' go forward and there is a steep turn, don't turn! Go over the edge of the turn and level the board so you get no board damage. This should get you half a mile ahead of the loser (opponent)!

Control Kensuke At Beginning

At the beginning where it shows Kensuke on crystal lake, press C-Up then you can control the camera on Kensuke. (This works on all videos of people)

Turbo Boost

At the beginning of a race, press Forward on the joystick to get a turbo boost.

Backflip without Panda Board

First, choose the Dragon Cave. Then, take the normal route with no shortcuts and go right off the cliff in the middle of the fence and then finger the sign. Pull back on your joystick. Right when you are upside down, push the joystick to the right-forward position. If you don't get it the first time try again.

Ice Man

To play as Ice Man, win Match Race mode on the Expert level and top all the EAD scores in Trick Attack and Time Attack modes. Press the left C Button and then the A Button while choosing Akari Hayami.

Gold Ice Man

Gold Ice Man is the game's best racer! To get the 24-karat boarder, select Ice Man, then conquer Match Race on the Expert level. Press the up C Button and then the A Button while choosing Kensuke Kimachi

Trick List Cheat

Enter the training mode and select any rider and board. Perform the first trick on the list and then access the trick list before you land. Scroll down the list, highlight a trick you haven't performed and press A. When you land, the computer will give you credit for completing the trick you selected!

GO PAST THE FINISH LINE

Select match race with any character & on any course. Make your way to the finish line, then press start and go to retire BEFORE you cross the line. Your character will continue snowboarding. This is a really cool glitch... especially on DEADLY FALLS because your snowboard will go right off the cliff.

GHOST PLAYBACK DURING DEMONSTRATION

Complete any course under TIME ATTACK mode, and save the ghost. Then return to the demo screen with Kensuke Kimachi. The demo will continue after he crosses the finish line with the saved ghost.

Easier Landings

Line your board up with the ground (lean back a little) and press Z just before landing.

Halfpipe start bonus

At the start of the halfpipe, immediately turn to the left or right. Proceed until you are near the wall, then make a turn towards the pipe. If you are in the correct position, you will move up a small invisible ramp and it will boost you high into the air. The best part of this glitch is that you land every trick, no matter how bad your landing position is (exception: not letting go on a grab). Can you say '13000 combo bonus'?

Get Every Trick in Training Easily
Here's a cool trick to easily clear all tricks in the Training Mode (so that you can get the Penguin Board). Go into the Training Mode with any character and do a couple of the simple tricks (so that they turn red in the trick list). Then, when you get to a trick you can't do, go to your trick list and pick a real easy trick (like a board grab). Do the easy trick and immediately press C-Right to go back into the trick list while you are still in the air. Now select the trick you can't do (like a 1080, for example) and go back into the game. Land your board and the game will think you actually did that trick.

Intro Camera
Press C-up during the intro movie and move the control pad around to have full camera control (just like during the game).

Rappin' Replay

During the View Replay option for the Half Pipe mode you can add record scratches to the backround. To do this, move the control stick in any direction during the Half Pipe Replay.

NOTE: This cheat only works in the Half Pipe mode replay.

Back Flip
Note: Only the Panda Boarder can do this trick

When in the air, press R and down on the analog stick. Panda will now perform a back flip in the air, worth 100 points. You can also perform this move close to the ground.

Crystal Boarder
With any character clearthe expert mode. Now onthe character selection screen select Akari. Press C-Left and then A(you should be on thesceen that shows character technique, speed, balance, power and jump). If you've done it correctly you will see Akari's picture replaced with the Crystal Boarder
at the track selectionscreen.

The crystal boarder reflects everything around him andis a very cool character.

Deadly Fall Course

In Match race, beat thesix courses on expertmode. This will unlock theDeadly Fall course.

Beating the expert modematch race unlocks the track.

Dragon Cave Course

In Match race, beat thefive courses on hard mode. This will unlock the Dragon Cave course.

Beating the match race onhard mode unlocks this course.

Fast Start

To get an extra push at the start(or after you fall), simply tap thecontrol stick forward. Timing iseverything. At the start of therace, wait until the announcer isabout to say "Go!"

Front Flip

Note: Only the Panda Boardercan do this trick

When in the air, press R and upon the analog stick. Panda will now perform a front flip in theair, worth 100 points. You can also perform this move close to the ground.

Metal Boarder

Win the expert mode withthe Crystal boarder. Nowon the character selection screen highlight Kensuke.Press C-Up, and then A(you should be on thescene that shows character technique, speed, balance, power and jump). If you've done it correctly you will see Kensuke's picturereplaced with the Metalboarder at the trackselection screen.

You'll need to use thecrystal boarder to get thegold one, but it's worth it.

One Foot

Note: Only the Panda Boarder can do this trick.

When in the air, press B anddown on the analog stick. Your Panda will now do a one-foot trick in the air, worth 400 points.

Panda Boarder

First, you need to beat theExtra Mode. Next, get ridof all EAD scores in the Trick, Time, and Contest Modes (come in first, second and third. It doesn't matter what initials you use -- but in the end, there should be no EAD records left). Now on the character selection screen highlight Rob. Press C-right and then A (you should be on the sceen that shows character technique, speed, balance, power and jump). If you've done it correctly you will see Rob's picture replaced with the Panda Boarder at the track selection screen.

Panda big-head mode isone of the more interestingcodes in the game.

Panda Tweak

Note: Only the Panda Boardercan do this trick.

When in the air, press R andmove the analog stick in acounterclockwise circle, thenpress R and left (reverse these controls to do a Panda Tweak in the opposite direction). This trick earns you 300 points.

Penguin Board

In training mode performall 24 tricks (including both 1080s). Now, at theboard selection screen highlight the Tahoe 151 board and press C-down followed by A.

Miyamoto's trademarkmakes it into 1080.
