Magical Vacation
For those of you unaware of who Brownie Brown are, they're a small games development company formed by four ex-Square employees who are dedicated to making RPGs for Nintendo, and Magical Vacation is their first of (hopefully) many.
The game centres around the students of a "Magic School" who are attacked by monsters one day and escape to a parallel world called "The Plain of Light". Okay, so it's weird, but bear with it! After that, the story begins to unfold in typical RPG style. Your band of young magicians will begin to master their individual areas of magic and use powerful spells to help you defeat monsters and progress through the game. Since Brownie Brown's founding members all worked on SNES RPG, The Secret of Mana, those who have played the said game will probably have a good idea what to expect from Magical Vacation.
It's unclear at the moment exactly where the focus of the game's strategy will be, but it's safe to say it will have a strong storyline and the same addictive qualities that all of parent-company Square's RPGs do. At the moment the game has no confirmed western release, but from the looks of it so far Nintendo of America will be finding it hard to refuse once the game is complete.
