Kuru Kuru Kururin is odd to say the least. It's one of these "original" games, meaning, of course, that is like absolutely nothing you've played before. Who knows, it could invent a whole new genre with endless clones! Well, maybe it won't go quite that far.
Your task is to guide a rotating stick through some narrow tunnels. Obviously this is all about timing, as you have to ensure that the stick is lengthwards when you want to pass through a small gap. Hitting the sides will lose you health as you move through the maze. Lose too much (three hits) and it's back to the start for you. This isn't all you do, as there are likely to be a good number of other obstacles and complications along the way. Whether you get to use power-ups or not is, as yet, uncertain. A time attack mode is also present to add longevity to the game. This plays similarly to the regular version, but with the emphasis on getting through the level as quickly as possible.
Reports from Japan seem to dispel any fears we may have had that the game would not possess the depth Nintendo claimed it had, and is reportedly among the best GBA launch games. Don't miss it!
