In the video, everyone has a loss of something...Kevin mourns his father, Brian's thinking of his heart condition, Howie remembers his sister, Caroline, AJ mourns the image of what he believes his twin sister would have looked like. But what about Nick? What was his loss? He has to have a loss, right? Well, thats cause Nick doesn't have a loss, he is taking on the loss of the others.
Nick's role in this video is actually "death." Nick represents the guys' "guardian angel", who is there to guide the rest to a better place than where they are. Ok, in other words, take their sorrows/spirits/whatever and lead them into the unknown, called Heaven... you know up there?^
The one weird part was where Nick pulled the girl out from in front of the bus before it hit her. Now if you look closely the same girl that was getting pulled away from the bus was the same girl AJ was imagining was his sister. Nick is "taking back" what is his.. his "spirit."
Alot of people have asked why he was all pale and wearing black. It's his role. It wasn't meant to be the most obvious thing in the world either.
Or...did he take the girl getting hit by the bus as his loss? Maybe that's why he was pulling that girl away from the bus, cause he didnt want to see it happen.
