Okay yeah whatever I'm a hypocrite... blah blah blah....!!

-- Blink 182: I fell in love with blink for their garage sound and immaturity. The way they just acted like complete jackasses and all. They made me laugh and that is why I like them. They still make me laugh and all but it's just that they lost their garage band sound so I am not into their music all too much. I will still buy their CDs just to see if by chance they have any good songs. I DID NOT listen to them because I thought they were hot or all that shit. This is why I become a hypocrit now because I hate the fact that they went to MTV to become popular. They could have made it without making that move, but it was their choice and I can't change that. I have little respect for their choice though. I still consider myself a fan and I get bitched at by many people because I am anti their MTV movement. I don't think that just by being against that I am not a fan. Because I do still like them as people and as a band. Their music has changed and I don't like all of it but I am getting used to their new sound. Is this all confusing you people yet? I don't know maybe I'm just a head case or something, and maybe I am a hypocrite I don't really go out trying to be one it is just my view.

The worst thing I think MTV did for them was make fans think they sold out or that they bacame a boy band. Which all together I don't really beleive because they just did it to gather more fans. In this process they may have lost old fans, but I don't believe they set out to do that. I mean I don't like the fact at all that they are on MTV and people (teeny boppers) now think they are cool or what have you because they listen to blink. The thing I have against new fans are because MOST (yes I know not all are this way but most...) just like them because they ran around naked and they think they are hot and ect. I don't think there is a way you can really truly be a fan by just thinking the people are hot. You have to dig their personalities and sound also.

-- Selfish: Okay now I don't see how the hell I am being selfish. I want all the bands to stay "underground" when did I ever say that?? All I am saying is that you DON'T need MTV to become a great band. Just look at NOFX, Dead Kennedys, Descendents/ALL, Pennywise, Operation Ivy and so on they all became great popular bands without ever going to a network/corporation like MTV. I'm sorry if you think this is 'selfish' of me. I really don't believe I am being selfish. I just don't like to see bands forget who they are by getting messed up into a corporation like that. I am also NOT saying that blink has forgot who they are, but the fans I think have...

-- Closed-Minded: Hmm yes I know that I am closed minded about A LOT of different things, but music..? No I hardly think that. I DO like a variety of music. I mean come on people look at my fucking musical taste page!! Yeah I am way into punk music, I listen to that the most and most my CDs are punk, but I LIKE EVERYTHING!! So dont ever ever ever fucking tell me I'm closed-minded and don't know good music! I fucking hate to be judge on a statement like "You don't like a variety." You know what though it wouldn't fucking matter if I didn't like anything else then punk though because it's MY choice to listen to what I want. :)

Alright I don't fucking care what blnk-182 is classified in a music genre. Second I like punk, I support punk. That is why I have all the links on my site. I support the companysnd oher punkfans out there. I am so fucking sorry that I don't think I am punk but I support it. If that makes me a hypocrite well god damn thn I am! I don't care about my layout either.
