WHO WE ARE As we walk though this world our lives are influenced by what is around us. Experiencing the good and bad life has to offer and deciding what is best for us. Developing a personality which is unique to us and us alone. These special qualities set us apart from all the rest because they are molded and shaped in such a manner as to bring out our special traits. The people we meet in life tend to judge us by the personalities we display. They come to conclusions and pass judgments according to their beliefs of what is right or wrong. The honor us for what they think is unique and special. They classify us in categories that may brand us for life, never considering the consequences they may cause and the dilemmas they may introduce in our frail lives, sometimes even to the point that we are labeled as outcasts. The Lord has given us the ability to be resilient and the will power to cope with such situations. We learn to take these with a grain of salt. The wounds heal and our lives continue on in a positive direction. We learn to let these situation pass like water from a ducks back. This builds our character and increases our durability. A quality that makes us even more special and unique. Not everyone is so quick to judge and pass sentence. Some even praise the qualities which make us unique and admire us for who we are, not what they think we should be. The truth of the matter is it just their opinion and everyone is entitled to one. We don't have to accept them as our own. What makes us who and what we are is our ability to be individuals and not letting our lives be influenced by people who are trying to control or manipulate us. Instead we should develop our minds and senses to a point which we are comfortable with. The only ones we have to please on this earth are ourselves and the people we choose. When we have done that we will be complete and able to live with ourselves and everything else in our lives will fall into place. If at some point we stumble and need help.
