Pillow Talk

Pillow Talk

As we journey through life we may become fortunate enough to find someone
that is special to us in many ways. The qualities that we admire in that person are personified causing us to fall blindly in love . Choosing to be with this person forever we decide that our life would be incomplete without them ,so we ask them to bond with us in marriage.

The beginning years seem so special and filled with love and understanding. We do everything together and without regrets because we are not only husband and wife but are best of friends . The love we share is unconditional because we give it and look for nothing in return. It is a state of mind that is not only special but most rewarding.

As the pressures of everyday living build up in our lives we find that our marriage becomes strained and put to the test. We find ourselves drifting apart and going our separate ways. The problems seem to multiple causing us to forget what we once held so special in our hearts. As time pass we drift away from our unconditional love and substitute it with the thoughts of being forced to do what we must because we are married.

The things that made our relationship so special are forgotten. We merely exist to survive and make it though yet another day , loosing all that we held so dear. We wish we could go back to the way it was but don’t have the slightest idea on how to get there.

The thing that we forgot is how to be friends. We tend to look at marriage as a job when in fact it is an experience with many lessons to be learned. If we worked on being friends the bonds would grow and our marriage florish. The secret to being good friends is to talk and share what is on our hearts. To be supportive and caring and most of all Loving.

The best way to maintain this is simple .We must always keep God first in our
life and in all we do. The second thing we must always do is to share our day with each other and never go to bed angry or upset with each other. We can talk over all that is on our minds in bed before we fall asleep or before we rise in the morning. This wonderful experience is called pillow talk.. It is a time when we are more susceptible to listening and we can think about what we feel as we sleep. It is a time when we are close both physically , mentally and spiritually . To make the bond even greater this can be supported by caressing each other with hugs and a kisses.

Pillow talk is not only special but will bring many rewards.

Sleep well my friend wherever you may be.
