Gone but Not Forgotten

It seems like only yesterday
we stood speaking of tomorrow,

I glanced across the room today,
and my heart was filled with sorrow.

We always though we had so much time
to talk and laugh and play.

But never did we realizes
the Lord planned to take you away.

My heart is saddened but the thought
that you’re now a part of my past.

I always thought the time we shared
was eternal and would forever last.

Although you physical being is gone
and you’re not here for me to see

I feel the present of your loving spirit
Deep inside off me.

I finally came to terms with my self
To except that you are gone.

As long as you are in my heart
you will always carry on.

For all the lovely thing we shared
made me who I am today

They make me feel your presents ,
Now and every day.

I kept them hidden in heart
To showed you that I care.

Now I realize the gifts you gave
were20meant for me to share.

For all our generations to come
Your love they will surely see.

For when they feel the love I give
they will be feeling your love through Me.
