As we journey through life we are always looking for the brighter side to things. We set our expectations on the finer things in life because we feel that they will bring us happiness. Perhaps it is time to open our eyes and except the thing that are around us, for what they are. We should fall back to our roots and experience the life we were born into. This does not mean giving up our dreams, because dreams are what keep us going forward. To often in life we wander around with no direction or goals. At that moment in time the grass may looks greener on the other side of the fence but when we get there we look back only to notice, the grass on the other side looks greener. At that point we may feel its to late to turn back, or we should have never changed our direction in the first place. The real truth is, its never to late to turn back. We must learn to except that which is before us and learn to deal with it. This does not mean that if something has caused us pain or discomfort we must except it. We must work on improving our surroundings not just give up and look for new pastures. Sometimes we look so hard to find things in the distance that we miss simple solution which is right before our eyes. We have a tendency to look at the big picture in the distance and miss the little things in life that brings us true happiness. We should set goal and thrive for them because they give us purpose and direction in life and without them we merely exist. Life owes us nothing and we should expect the same in return. By not expecting to much out of life, we surely won't be disappointed if it doesn't come. When and if it does come we will be that much more thankful and filled with gratitude. One must realize we are just along for the ride and if we sit back and hold on we will find that where ever it takes us will be a fantastic adventure and one we will not soon forget. Learn to enjoy life and all it has to offer. This is done by having faith in God and yourself, follow after your dreams through the setting of achievable goals and by holding your precious memories deep within your heart.
