Death

Death should not be feared by anyone, for it is a very important part of life. The biggest fear of death is caused by the lack of understanding it. Although death seems to be the end. Life is too precious to welcome death freely. With every breath we take, we cheat death out of having dominion over us.

We are like the flowers of the field each year we bloom only to die. We produce new seedlings only to wilt away making room for the next generations of flowers. Imagine if a rose could talk and said, "I refuse to grow because they will only pick me and put me in a vase to admire my beauty, and then I will wilt and die a lonely death."

If the rose refused to grow for all those silly reasons think of all we would be missing, its beauty, it fragrance, it's very existence. Most of all the reasons it was put here are for the soothing sensations it gives our hearts which is second only to our wonderful God who created it and nourished it and put it here just for our pleasure. It's God's way of replenishing what is all around us. He is the Creator and the gardener of life. What He sows, He reaps and He harvests is for the beautification of heaven, our home after life. When we are replenished and it is time to go home to be with Him, we will experience the most beautiful place, one that has been prepared especially for us.

So, we should enjoy this life until it is our time to die and when death comes, greet it with a smile. We are making room for the new and it is a far better place to which we go.
