Matt LeBlanc is a man of many talents. As a little tyke growing up in Massachusetts, he took up motorcycling and carpentry. In 1985 he graduated from Newton North High School and decided to move to New York to pursue a career in acting. He started out doing TV commercials, and then took some acting classes and hey what do you know hes Vinnie Verducci on "Married...With Children"! Not long after that he landed a starring role in the TV series, "TV 101" (I was very curious to know what that was about. So heres the plotline...Kevin Keegan is a recently divorced TV news photographer who quits his job and returns to Roosevelt High School to teach the kids how to make a weekly cable TV show. Principal Steadman remembers Kevin as a disruptive former student and this leads to conflict. Well how bout that! Now back to Matt LeBlanc...)
So, finally, in 1994 his big break came along. He was cast as Joey Tribbiani on, yes, Friends. He too decided to give a movie career a go. Sadly enough the movies hes been in havent been as big of hits as Courteney or Matthews. For example, he starred in a movie called Ed, about a guy who plays baseball and his monkey who (What are the odds?) ALSO plays baseball. Lost In Space, another blockbuster, was a movie in which he played Flight Control Officer Major Don West. "OK, last one to kill a bad guy buys the beer." Despite all the not so good movies, we still love him, right? Matt can be seen in the frist Charlie's Angels and in the upcoming sequel that comes out this summer. Matt was finally recognized for being Joey at last years Emmy's. Though he did not win, it was okay the cast won, which really is the best. Without one the show would not be the same.
(Question: "Do any of you think you'll move out of L.A. once the show is over?")
David Schwimmer:Probably the first place would be Chicago
Matt Leblanc: A lot of ass up there.
Matthew Perry: Which is actually why they call it the Windy City.
