Welcome to my Burlington County Frequency and Info page. Burlington County is by far the largest county in size in the State of New Jersey. The population is about 398,000. This is the northern fringe of the main Philadelphia Metro Area, before you hit Trenton. Burlington County uses 500mhz frequencies for most things. The county is growing rather rapidly. Once again, as I have in Gloucester and Camden Counties, I will set up the Fire and EMS setup for each town. I have a list now of several Fire Departments who operate their own sites. Be sure to check them out as you browse!

Fire/EMS (County)
154.220- F-1 Main Fire and EMS Dispatch for Entire County
154.190- F-2 Fireground for just about the Northern half of the County
154.400- F-3 Primary Fireground for Riverfront towns, Maple Shade, Moorestown, Mount Laurel, Chesterfield, and Pemberton
154.205- F-4 Used in Major Incidents and when companies are on drills.
Note: Central cannot talk on this channel and all apparatus will scan all frequencies
F-5 are the Local Channels licensed to individual Municipalities. See each town below for an F-5 Channel.
154.265- F-6. South Jersey Net. Used across Southern NJ between Counties in emergencies. Utilized in Burlington County for communication with Medivac Helicopters such as SouthStar.
154.250- F-7 Used as the Command Post (CP) Channel during any working incident. Would be announced on F-1 as all companies in service. Also used as a non-emergency miscellaneous communication channel.
154.400 (Again) F-8 is a repeater in the extreme east end of Burlington County. Used mainly in Bass River and Woodland Townships, but is rare.
155.805- County Fire Police
155.295- E-1 Main EMS Response Channel. Dispatch is on F-1 (154.220)
155.340- E-2 Ambulance to Hospital
155.280- E-3 Used by officers to talk to the chief at a major incident or special event.
Just to note, all of these channels, with the exception of Channel F-6 have a PL tone of 127.3.

Apparatus/Radio Assignment Numbers
If you see XX it means the District
If you see XXX it means the station

XX00, XX10, XX20, etc.- Command Vehicle (Example: Bordentown is fire district 60, so 6000, 6010, 6020, etc. are Bordentown Command Vehicles.)
XXX1, XXX2, XXX3, XXX4- Pumpers and Engines, plus Squirts. (Example: Bordentown Station 601 may have an Engine, so 6011 is the Engine from Station 601 in Bordentown.)
XXX5- Ariel Units (Straights, Snorkles, Towers).
XXX6, XXX7- Brush, Utility Vehicles
XXX8- Fire Police
XXX9- Rescue Vehicles
XXX8 and 9 are Utility Vehicles. They could be Fire Police, rescue, cascade, etc.

Here are some things to listen for while scanning Burlington County's Fire Department:
An LDH is a task force of 8 to 10 engines for large diameter hoses (4"+)
A Foam Task Force are units carrying or supplying foam
A FAST Team is a team that is dispatched strictly to be ready to rescue trapped or injured firefighters.
A Forest Fire Task Force is a task force of engines and brush units used in Forest Fires, hence the name. Also, the engines must carry at least 750 gallon tanks, as well as have hard suction for drafting from ponds, rivers, etc.
1 more note: If a large fire or other incident has occured somewhere in the county, a Task Force will be dispatched. Tones will go out for every station in the municipality where the incident has occured, and a task force will be called, such as in Mount Laurel Twp. If Task Force 361 is called, this means that the incident is located in the area served by station 361. This same routine goes for Station 362 and 363.

I extend my gratitude to a few visitors who have contributed greatly to this page, especially a member of the Cinnaminson Fire Department and a member of the Mount Laurel EMS. Thank you!

For each municipality I will list both the police and fire districts, as well as the response frequency for fire because it does vary.
