| On the night of June 12th, at 7:30 PM Christina Marie Williams left her house on the old Ft. Ord Army Base in Seaside, Ca, to walk her dog "Greg". She was a sweet happy 13 year old. But she did not return, However Greg her dog returned at 8:20 PM trailing his leash. Christina had been kidnapped. Christina's case had been classified as a stranger abduction by the FBI. Two men in an older model "primer gray" Ford Granada or Mercury Monarch were seen in the area prior to the abduction, and a witness saw a "frightened" Christina in the same car with two men at about 7:45 PM. On Tuesday January 14, 1999, Human remains were found near a Northern California Army Base, found in a natural reserve in the town of Seaside 3 miles away from Her home in fort Ord, have been identified as the 13-year-old missing Christina Marie Williams, she was missing for seven months and was found only 3 miles away from her house. It took a single man only one day to find her, after 7 months of FBI searches. The disappearance of Christina sparked an intensive manhunt in and around the areas of Fort Ord. Celebrities like Clint Eastwood and Mariah Carey even joined the search by making public pleas for her on television. Investigators did not release information about the site where her body was found and said dental records helped positively identify her body. Although there has not been a breakthrough in the case, all it takes is the one right tip or lead. The FBI will continue to investigate until they find her killers.
