Binding Off
Always bind off in the same pattern worked in garment - loosely, so that bind-off row has as much give as body of garment. Work 2 stitches in pattern. * With left needle, lift the first stitch worked over the 2nd and then off the needle. Work another stitch. Repeat from * as required.

Basic Stitches
Stockinette Stitch: K 1 row, P 1 row.
Reverse Stockinette Stitch: P 1 row, K 1 row. The Purl side is the right side.
Garter Stitch: K every row.
Ribbing: On an even number of stitches, K1, P1 across the row.
(Ribbing can also be done as K2, P2 for a wider rib.)
