Automatic Features
AutoComplete - compiles a list of entries. When you type the first few letters of a repeated entry, Excel finishes typing the entry for you.
AutoFill - creates a standard series of labels on a worksheet (e.g. months of the year). When copying a range down from the first label, if Excel recognizes the first item in a standard series, the range is filled with the rest of the items in the label series.
AutoCalculate - displays the sum, average, etc. The results, which appear on the status bar, are temporary and are not placed in the worksheet.
