FODRAS BACKGROUND :
From the inception, the members of FODRA have been associated in several poverty reduction, microfinance, savings & credit, womens economic empowerment, micro enterprise programmes to strengthen its understanding of the basic development values and implementation strategies underpinning the different focused initiatives in India. To be more specific, the member of FODRA has worked and provided planning and implementation support in several development projects/programmes of many NGOs, Small Scale Industries Development of India(SIDBI), National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development(NABARD), IFAD/World Bank and several others during 1994-1999. In 1996, FODRA started working with the families staying in slums and semi-urban low-income migrant clusters of Delhi to undertake women centred self-sustaining integrated family development actions for reducing of poverty and hunger, human development and better health hygiene and sanitation. |
