| History Change is the essential link to development and history a clue to the change that has occurred. Hence to know the organisational history is to know the way the organisation has developed over the period of time. FODRA was established in 1994 as a not-for-profit development support organisation to help and collaborate with NGOs, development agencies and donors in the grassroots level capacity building for sustainable project planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating development. In early 1998, FODRA started its pilot programme intervention in one cluster among the people living in sub standard housing and sanitation conditions with little access to basic amenities in northeast Delhi. Gradually, FODRA has expanded its programme coverage to eight adjoining clusters by 2001 with an approximate 12,000 households and having a strategy of working directly with 2,000 households under different programme interventions. |
