ABOUT THIS PROGRAM: The creator of the A PARENT'S GUIDE TO KIDNAP PREVENTION program is David A. Bellman. This program is currently offered throughout the Southern California area and is rapidly expanding nationwide. The Kidnap Prevention Self-Defense Workshops that David Bellman teaches are offered as a community service project and have been well received since their inception in 1993. David Bellman is a nationally recognized specialist in kidnap prevention, rape prevention and self defense. He has appeared on several national television talk shows including the "Vicki Show" in 1993. He is also a martial arts expert having trained in the martial arts since 1962. His experience includes training in jujitsu, kenpo, karate, aikido, kung fu, judo, wrestling and American boxing. He holds the rank of 8th degree black belt in Mushin Ryu Jujitsu and is a recognized Professor of Danzan Ryu Jujitsu, Mushin Ryu Jujitsu and Ed Parker Kenpo. Professor Bellman is one of the technical directors of the Ed Parker Institute in Los Angeles, California, and member of the board of directors for the organization. Professor Bellman has dedicated the past 30 years to educating and informing the public of personal safety issues in their lives and their families lives.
