| Cars Cars are used in the world of FFVIII. There are many kinds of cars running here and there. Unlike trains, you can go everywhere you want by using a car. Generally, cars that appear in FF8 are from OK shops(where cars are rent). When you go by car, you will encounter no enemies. You need to buy gasoline for the car, if you ran out gasoline you can buy more in item shop for 1000 dollars. Cars are becoming useless in later of the game after you got the ragnarok.  Ragnarok-The High Mobility Flying Ship Weight: 2,850 tons (without propellent, charge nor occupents) 3,134 tons (with one third propellent, full charge, and full occupents) 3,450 tons (with full propellent, full charge, and full occupents) Length: 108 meters Width: 77 meters Height: 53 meters (landing), 66 meters (flying) Weapon: 160 mm multibarreled chaingun x2 610 mm charged particle cannon Maximum Speed: 11.8 km/s Occupents: A crew of 4. A navagator, a wireless operator, a cannoneer, and a cox. Adding to this, the ship is able to carry about ten more occupents. Generally it's body is red and you can see the letters ESTHAR on it's body near the wing. Ragnarok was made more than 20 years ago, and it is one of the strongest flying ships that exist in world. It was reportedly made secretly in ESTHAR but somehow the crew are all dead in the space. So Ragnarok lost contact with ESTHAR until Squall reestablish the contace. There are at least 2 other flying ships of the same kind with different markings. |
