Zidane Tribal:
"You don't need a reason to help people."

Zidane is the main character of Final Fantasy IX. Unlike the familiar, unfriendly Squall of VIII, Zidane likes helping people and isn't a social outcast. Zidane is actually an ex-theif trying to help his friends while helping himself sometimes as well.

Vivi Ornitier:
"How do you prove that you exist? Maybe we don't exist..."

Vivi is one of the supporting characters in Final Fantasy IX. Vivi is very paranoid and wants to find out things dealing with his race, his parents, and his history. If you don't know by know, Vivi is a black mage.

Adelbert Steiner:
"Having sworn fealty, must I spend my life in servitude?"

Adelbert, or referred to as Steiner in the game, is an Alexandrian knight who defends the Princess (Garnet) with his life. Steiner appears to greatly despise Zidane from the beginning, being that his is an ex-thief.

Garnet Til Alexandros 17th:
"Someday I will be queen, but I will always be myself."

Garnet Til Alexandros 17th, referred to as Garnet, is the daughter of Queen Brahne, the queen of Alexandria. Garnet wishes to be taken away from her castle, and conviently Zidane and his gang arrive.

Freya Crescent:
"To be forgotten is worse than death."

Freya is a Burmecian knight, obviously from Burmecia. Freya makes her first appearance in the game at a Restaurant in Lindblum. Freya, later in the game, is devistated to when she learns her one true love has forgotten her.

Quina Quen:
"I do what I want! You have problem?!"

Quina is a happy-go-lucky member of the Qu species. Quina's home is Qu's Marsh. Quina will go anywhere with Zidane and his party to try and find the wonderous foods of the world, and frogs too.
