Game Story:
Long ago, the war of the magi reduced the world to a scorched wasteland, and magic simply ceased to exist. 1000 years have passed... Iron, gunpowder, and steam engines have been rediscovered, and high technology reigns... But there are some who would enslave the world by reviving the dread destructive force known as "magic." Can it be that those in power are on the verge of repeating a senseless and deadly mistake?

Sabin is Edgar's twin brother who, after their father died, left Figaro castle and gave up the throne for his own freedom. He studied under the martial arts master Duncan, and now possesses awesome physical skills. His Blitz technique requires dexterity, but the attacks are powerful enough to kill many enemies with one hit.
Celes Chere

Celes was fused with the ability to use magic as a child, and is the only character opposite Terra who can use it without having to learn it from magicite. When Locke finds her, she is being held captive as a traitor to the empire even though she was once an imperial general. Although she considers herself a soldier rather than a "love starved twit", she later develops feelings for Locke.
Shadow

The connection between them remains unknown. Shadow comes and goes at will. |
