| Game Sprite Evolution By Trance Chapter Six ~ Missing AndrAIa "Matrix, where is she going?" sobbed Enzo. "She said she was going away for a little while kid. She'll be back soon." Matrix told him, hoping it would help calm him. "Matrix," said Bob "Where was she going?" It seemed that most people wanted to know that as well. Phong rolled over. "She has gone to receive a very special gift. She will return. But I would suggest that all of you return to your homes. The current weather may turn quite mean." He motioned his hand outside. Indeed, the wind was blowing fast and snow was starting to come down hard. "If this keeps up, by the time AndrAIa comes back she'll freeze in that thing she's wearin'." stated Mouse. Everyone silently agreed. "Matrix, can I go with you?" asked Enzo through his tears. Matrix nodded his head. "Perhaps you should leave now, as you will not be able to get home if you wait longer." advised Phong. Matrix put Enzo on the floor and walked toward the exit with everyone else. Both were silent as they headed to Mat! rix and AndrAIa's apartment. Matrix opened the door and allowed Enzo in first. Enzo walked into the living room and was joined by Matrix moments later. "Why did she have to leave Matrix? What did Phong mean?" ^-^-^-^-^-^ ^-^-^-^-^-^ "Phong, What do you mean 'gift'?" Dot asked the wise sprite. "Ah my child, you shall see. Even I have no idea the outcome but this, AndrAIa will come back a different looking sprite." Phong was careful not to let out anymore information. It was up to AndrAIa to tell them the rest when she came back. "Wait Phong. Will she be dangerous?" Bob asked what he felt was an important question. "Do you think you think her dangerous now, my son?" Bob pondered for his answer. "Yes, but I know that she wouldn't-" he stopped midsentence then said "She won't hurt anyone no matter what. You know Phong, I don't know how you do it." "Do what?" said both Phong and Dot in unison. "How you can always make a person see the answer in their question." *^*^*^*^*^*^*^ Matrix lay in bed, wondering what his lover was doing at the same moment. She said she was changing, something he wasn't too crazy about. He liked her just the way she was. 'But it's her life, I can't make her choices for her.' he thought. Another thing was plaguing his mind, his younger self. He didn't mind little Enzo, quite the contrary, he loved having him around. Like the little brother he never had. But for some reason he didn't want it to be just that. He wanted him to be something more. He had an idea, but it was Enzo's decision if he wanted to do it or not. He walked out into the living room, where he found Enzo sleeping on the couch. Matrix checked to make sure Enzo was warm enough before going back to bed. He was. Making his way back to his bedroom, he silently wished AndrAIa was with him now. To be continued... |
