CHOCOBO RACING TRICK
Hold all the shoulder buttons (L1, L2, R1, R2) during the race, and the stamina of your chocobo will gradually go up. This will help you to beat Joe! (he rides the Chocobo called Teioch.).
W-ITEM TRICK - Duplicate items
Once you have the W-Item materia (it can be found if you keep heading left in the tunnel section when you parachute back into Midgar), you can perform this trick. To get the trick to work, do the following :-
1) Equip the W-Item materia and enter a battle.
2) Select W-Item on the character who has it.
3) Choose the item you want to duplicate. (usually circle button)
4) Press 'use' (usually circle) on the enemies or allies (it depends which item you chose), as normal.
5) Go to another item and press choose again.
6) Instead of using the second item, now press cancel (usually X). You will find that the number of the item you chose to duplicate has gone up by 1.
7) Press 'choose' (usually circle button) again.
8) Then press cancel again - the amount you have of the item will again go up by 1.
9) Repeat steps 7 and 8 until you have 99 of the item. This is especially useful with Sylkis greens and Megalixirs!
