Below is a list of treats that are bad for ferrets. They are either chock-full-o-sugar or contain no nutrituonal values, based on a healthy ferret diet. Some are even deadly. -Beer -Caffeine -Cake -Chocolate (deadly) -Candies -Cookies or snack bars -Corn (popped) -Craisins (the #1 ingredient is- you guessed it- sugar) -Dairy Products (give diarhea) -Deli/processed meats -Junk food -Licorice- especially black -Pet treats with lots of sugar, salt, or sodium -Rawhide Just be careful of these!!! You wouldn't want your pet in dire straits! |
