| Frist I'de like to say the usual. All characters are property of Mainframe Entertainment. Bla Bla Bla. I make no money off of this. Bla bla. Send them to honnisymonds@hotmail.com Always, AndrAIa's Love AndrAIa's Forever Life Chapter 1 After Enzo, the crew of the Saucy Mare and I returned to Mainframe and along with the help of Bob, Dot, Mouse and even Ray Tracer we managed to defeat Megabyte. However he left us with his baine. The system crashed before our eyes and we could do nothing. Bob relied on the User to ReBoot the system and fortunantly it worked. All was restored and all viruses and virals vanished. Luckily Hexa Deciaml was registered at the last nano. Those who were lost returned and even a shocking surprise. Enzo had put his icon into game sprite mode and had forgotten to change it back. When the system was reloded Enzo returned. Little Enzo I mean. However Enzo, I mean big Enzo was still there. And when young Enzo saw himself he said, "Hey! Who's the big ugly green guy?" Enzo still dislikes his little self and now that his little self is in Mainframe he finds it hard to face himself. But still we celebrated with a huge Opera performed by Mainframe's Strolling Players. It was fantastic! Not to mention catchy. "The web invaded Mainframe, sprite and virus battled side by.." "Are you still singing that!?" Called out Enzo from the lounge room of our new apartment. "I can't help it Enzo. It's too catchy." I replied coming out from the bedroom jumping about and waving my arms like a conducter. He lauged and I sat down beside him on the couch as the movie started. Everything had toned down including Enzo and we all decided to take some well earned time off before some of us went to find Daemon and end her quest to infect all guardinas. The movie was about two binomes that fought against virals. It was pretty good. I snuggled up to Enzo and he put his arm around me. The next morning I went out early for a girls day on the town. I went to Dot's Diner to meet up with Hexa Decimal, Dot and Mouse I walked in and was greeting by Cecil, "Good morning Maddam. Right this way." He led me to a booth with all the girls sitting at it, "Sorry I'm late. My bike stalled." I inherited Megabytes bike once the system was restored because he didn't need it anymore, "Don't worry about it. I only just got here too." replied Hex smiling and moving over so I could sit down, "So how do you like your apartments?" Asked Dot putting down her file folder and glasses and looking at us, "There great suga. I've never been so cosy." said Mouse raising her shoulders to form a snug sort of look, "Yes. Scuzzy likes it quite well in there." Said Hex with a satisfactory look as if it all came down to Scuzzy, "What about you AndrAIa?" Asked Dot as she looked over at me. I couldn't really hear her. Everything was fading away, "AndrAIa hun." "Andr….." With that I hit the deck and it all went dark. I woke up with what seemed like dejavu. Enzo and Bob were at my side and everyone was crowded around me, "What happened?" I asked as Enzo helped me up from the bed. I was in my appartment, "Side affects from the web creatures bite. It was unexpected because side effects don't usually happen until quite a few minutes later in a normal sprite, but because you're a Game Sprite your code must recycle itself more often so the side effects came a lot! Quicker." Explained Ray as I stood up, "You're lucky to be processing AndrAIa." Said Phong as he came in the door, "you had a massive energy drain and your code was severly damaged. Bob's code is only a temporary solution. Because you didn't get your own code back from the webcreature you will need to stay in bed until we find some way to supress these drains." "What he's trying to say AndrAIa is that he doesn't want you to go with us unless he finds some sort of solution." Enzo said it with such sorrow in his eyes and voice, " I'm sorry." He took my hand and laid me back onto the bed. Chapter 2 I spent the next cycle in bed. Coming in and out of consciousness. Slowly but surly my code was reduced and my energy was drained from trying to stop it. Phong and Ray tried several things to try and restore my original code. All with failure. Enzo did less and less planning with the rest about their near encounter with Daemon and they understood. He got little sleep and often restored some of my energy with his own. One day Mouse came up with a brilliant idea to restore my code. Mostly because Ray was spending more and more time just like Enzo at my side thinking and helping with my energy. She ran the plan by Phong. He walked in the door and proposed the plan to Enzo. They would take a sample of my code and reproduce it through a system found in the Super Computer. Phong took a full strain of my code and gave it to Mouse. She hacked into the software and duplicated my code and this code went into mine, this time it registered as my own and there for it was fully restored. And would keep duplicating my original until that was all that was left. Hence no more code fading. It was a slow and hectic recovery. I had to stay in bed but yet I had to go to planning meetings about Daemon. But within a cycle my code was fully restored, however I was still rather weak from my ordeal. I went with Enzo to a meeting where we would get a message from Turbo. I was still weak and tired but I went anyway. "Are we ready to receive transmission yet Mouse?" asked Bob as Mouse was decoding the signal so we could see it. "Almost suga." She replied and Dot gave her the look as if to say. Don't bother with the suga thing. "There!" She swung her chair around and hit a button. Turbo appeared. "Hello Matrix, Bob. Good to see you again." "You too Turbo." Replied Bob as he swung around on his chair in discomfort. "What's the 411 on Daemon?" Asked Enzo changing the subject quickly, "Well she plans to infect Mainframe now. Not just you and Bob. She believes it will be a beginning point for her net wide infection." "Well now it's personal. There's no way I'm staying here!" Said Dot, "Dot. You know you have to stay here and look after Enzo." Replied Bob with those puppy dog eyes. Enzo looked over at Bob rather puzzled, "I mean little Enzo. He can't stay here by himself. And if something happened to you I'd…. Well…. I Don't" He looked sadly away from Dot and I met his glance and tears were in his eyes. "Look guys we can talk about this later. Turbo can't stay undetected for much longer." Said Mouse swinging around again to make more adjustments to the transmission to give Turbo more time. "Yes. You're right Mouse." Said Dot looking away from Bob. Turbo continued to tell us about the passwords and access codes to get into the new upgraded Super Computer. Chapter 3 Once Turbo's transmission was over we all turned to Bob who was looking at Dot. I knew that he wanted us to leave but didn't say it, "Umm. We better go." I said raising an eyebrow at Mouse and Ray and with that they agreed and got up and they left on Ray's digital surf board. Bob smiled a thank you smile and I returned it and Enzo and I walked out of the room. "You better go to the Principal Office to see Phong. He want's to check up on you." Said Enzo. "Don't worry Sparky I'm fine. See you later!" And I left him to go see Phong. "Hi Phong." I said as I walked in the door of his office, "Hello my child. How are you feeling today." "Good enough to play a game." I laughed as it was sarcasm. I was far from good enough to go into a game, "Well you must be careful my child the games will return any second. There will be many." "I'll be careful Phong don't worry." "Then you may go my child." And he waved his hand a little and I walked out. "We need a tear to stabilize to get to the Super Computer. But you've done such a good job at being a Guardian Bob we don't have any tears. So we're stuck here until one appears or until Daemon gets here!" Commented Mouse at our next meeting. "Well what's worse? Daemon here or finding some other way?" asked Ray as he sat down in Mouse's seat. She pulled him out of her chair and sat down. "Well there are always more tears when games are around but because their aren’t any in Mainframe now we have to wait until they come." I said as I walked in the door with Enzo, "Phong says it won't be long." "How did it go anyway AndrAIa?" asked Dot. "Ohh fine. He says I'm still too weak even to play a game though." "WARNING! INCOMING GAME! WARNING! INCOMING GAME!" The words rung in our ears. "Well looky here. Sounds like the User is on our side." Said Mouse with just a little enthusiasm as she got out of her chair and scanned for landing coordinates. "Lets do it!" Said Enzo as he almost jumped on the spot with excitement and got ready to leave. He missed the excitement of the Games and was happy to have them here again. I stood there and they all left except for Dot. She had to stay and look after little Enzo. She didn't like it much but she loved her brother too much to leave him behind. I didn't go because I wasn't about to risk everyone by not being strong enough to play properly. Enzo ran back through the door and came up to me. "Don't worry. You'll be fine by the time we get a tear." "Good luck." I said and I gave him a kiss on the check and with that he was gone in a flash. I decided to walk back to my apartment. It was long and boring but I enjoyed it never the less. I talked to Dot about nothing much. Mostly my health and Daemon. It was becoming boring in Mainframe now, I wanted some action. I knew that wasn't a great train of thought, but still I longed for adventure. Which is why the games where almost fun for me. I had no intention of leaving Enzo and Mainframe behind to play my original role as a Game Sprite but still I couldn't wait to defeat Daemon. I got inside Enzo and my apartment and threw on a wardrobe upgrade. Then I sat on the bed and made an entry in my Log. "AndrAIa's Log. I have almost fully recovered from my code and energy drain. However peaceful it may seem in Mainframe I long for action. I do not know how long it will be before we have to leave to find Daemon, but I'll be ready. Bob is also distressed about Dot wanting to risk her life going after Daemon. I debate in my head about whether I should talk to him about it or just leave him to his own personal affairs. AndrAIa Out. "GAME OVER!" I felt relieved to not hear a User wins. I decided to go to bed and not wait up for Enzo. I heard him open the bedroom door quietly and even though he tip toed I could hear the thud of his boots. He too put a wardrobe upgrade on and he quietly hopped into bed. I rolled over and snuggled up to him. "How was the game?" I asked tiredly, "Good. It took a little while. It was more of an adventure game. Heaps of levels. Really exciting though." He was still pumped from the excitement from the Game. I made a small groan. That was the kind of thing I wanted but I just had to miss out on it, "What's wrong AndrAIa?" He asked looking me in the eyes, "Nothing." He gave me one of those 'I can see strait through you' looks and I frowned at it. "I just missed all the action. That's all." "I'll give you action." He pulled me closer and kissed me. I pulled the sheet over us and I wondered how much action I could handle. Chapter 4 "Knock. Knock. Anyone home?" Called the voice of Mouse from our front door. I slowly got up out of bed and yelled out to her. "Coming Mouse! Hang on a nano!" "Ok hun." I put on my usual wardrobe and made sure I didn't look a complete mess. I walked out to the door and unlocked it and let her in. "What's up?" I asked as she walked in. "Well for starters do you know what time it is. There was a meeting a least a micro ago and neither you or Matrix showed up. Is something wrong?" She looked sternly at me. "Ohh no! nothings wrong." I said yawning, "We just had a long night that's all." "Ohh." She gave me a wink. "So what did you want to see me for?" "Well we've got a tear." "Great! When do we leave?" "A.S.A.P says Bob. He's putting in all the access code as we speak. Also Dot will be coming. Little Enzo will stay with Phong." "What in the net is going on?" asked Enzo as he stumbled out of the bedroom. Mouse laughed and he glared rather confused at her, "what? What did I do this time AndrAIa?" "Ohh nothing don't worry sparky." Mouse burst out laughing and I started to push her out the door. "We'll be there in a nano Mouse now go!" I too was laughing and Enzo threw his hands up in the air, giving up on us and walked clumsily back to bed mumbling something about girls. "Don't get to comfy Enzo." I said as he flopped back onto the bed. He looked at me. "What was Mouse laughing at me for?" He asked still puzzled. "She wasn't laughing directly at you Enzo. Just because of something I told her. Anyway that's not important right now. Bob found a tear and we need to get ready to go. Ohh yeah and Dot is coming too. She will let little Enzo stay with Phong." "Ohh. Ok then." He jumped out of bed and threw on his normal clothes and was ready in a nano. We got to the coordinates that Mouse gave us and found everyone there and a tear in the middle. "Everyone ready?" Asked Bob. "Yeah I think we are." I replied and as Bob stabilized the tear into a portal into the Super Computer I took Enzo's hand and we all flew into it. |
