| AndrAIa’s Love: Her Note To You:- The Girl Renegade is a action story, I suppose I saw Tomb Raider and had the urge to write about an action woman! Hope you enjoy! The Girl Renegade By AndrAIa’s Love A new system, a new place to hang out while you escape those after you. The female sprite looked around the new system surrounding her. She still had her web armor on from her recent trip in the web and she was dying to get outta it. She brought out her Guardian icon and clicked it once. Her entire wardrobe changed. Her helmet was now off showing long metallic purple hair and silver blue eyes with her extremely light green skin . She had on small shorts and a halter neck top with knee high boots. A black leather strap went across her stomach. It was a holder for her shotgun. She was about 16-17 user years old. She was on the run from bounty hunters, after her Guardian icon. Apparently they fetch a good price on the Web Market. She tossed her long hair aside and walked across the park she was in. “WARNING! INCOMING GAME!” She looked up to see a giant purple cube falling from the sky. “Great.” She groaned. She sat down in the center of the cube’s landing coordinates and waited for it to land. Just before it did she watched as 6 sprites came flying in under it with her just as it landed. There was sand under boots and 6 suspicious sprites around her. “A Guardian!?” Gasped a man with blue skin and silver hair. The woman put up her guard, drawing a shotgun from her back. She held it at the blue man. Everyone gasped. With a bright red flash the woman looked down to see a red target appear on her shirt. “Put the gun down!” Growled a tall green man with black green hair and a large hand gun pointing at her. “Who are you people!” She demanded, still not lowering her gun. The tall man took a step closer, the target moving to her head. The woman didn’t flinch or put her gun down. A woman with the same green skin and black green hair walked over to the tall one. “Enzo, put the gun down.” He looked down on her and frowned. He lowered his gun, the target disappearing. “We’re sprites from Mainframe.” She said reassuringly. The woman put her gun back in it’s holder. “You’re not after me?” She asked, still not assured. “Why would we be?” Asked the blue sprite. “I thought you could be bounty hunters.” Everyone raised an eyebrow. “Well I’m Bob, Guardian of this system, this is Enzo.” He pointed to the tall green man. He scowled at Bob, “Matrix.” Bob rolled his eyes, “This is Dot, his sister.” He pointed to the woman with the same green skin and black green hair. She waved. “AndrAIa.” He pointed to a female sprite with tan skin and aqua blue hair and eyes. "Mouse.” A pink purple sprite with flickering orange hair, “Hi suga.” She said. “And Ray.” The man had tan skin and a surfboard. “Saffron.” The woman replied. Bob smiled, “Hi…” “Hate to break this up but we’ve got a game to win!” Called AndrAIa. Bob came back to reality. “Right! ReBoot!” He double tapped his icon, as did the rest, including Saffron. Saffron now had fur clothing, a skirt and top with a bow and arrow for a weapon Matrix had the same fur type clothing, his was a long pair of pants with a sword. AndrAIa had a pair of long stretch pants and a stretch shirt. The others had knights armor with swords. “Glitch, stats. This game is called The People Of The Knights. The objective is to beat the User to the Castle. If he beats us then we have to defeat him in a battle if we loose that, Game Over! The Castle is through that Fire Forest. Saffron. You all have the knowledge of that place. We’re the fighters. AndrAIa there’s a race. Matrix, Saffron and you will need to run that. We need to get to the castle ASAP.” Everyone’s eyes were wide, “Wow, this’ll be hard.” Said Dot quietly. Nobody moved so Saffron took lead. “Come on!” She called as she sprinted into the forest. Bob and Matrix took off after her, the rest following close behind. “The User has a big head start! So keep up!” Saffron called out as she took the knowledge she had and used his quicker than any of the others. “Don’t step on those!” She called as they passed a little black spot. They all came to a screeching halt in front of a great canyon. “Now what!?” Called out Dot. “There’s the castle!” Called AndrAIa. “A bridge!” Called Saffron, pointing a few hundred meters away. “And there’s the User!” Called Mouse. Everyone turned to see the User a few meters from the bridge. “Stop him!” Called Dot. Saffron shot an arrow at the User, catching him in the leg. The User, who was in the same fur clothes as Matrix fell to the ground. Bob ran over with the others close behind. They went past the User, pulling the spear out and they sprinted across the bridge. “This is an endurance race!” Called Bob as they reached a big white line. The User comes, we start the first to the other line is the winner of the level or Game! So sprint as fast as you can! And watch for rocks and ditches!” The User came across the bridge and just as he crossed the line Matrix, AndrAIa and Saffron sprinted after him. The others went as fast as they could but they knew one of the others could do it. Matrix was in the lead by about a leg with the User then AndrAIa and Saffron next to eachother. Saffron ran in front of AndrAIa and realised Matrix had just jumped a huge ditch. She leaped as far as she could and just made it. AndrAIa didn’t see it and tripped over it. Saffron ran as fast as she could, her legs burning. They still had at least 400 meters to go. The User came up behind Matrix and tripped him. Saffron had to think quick, she jumped over Matrix as she kept going. Matrix got up and kept running. The User was in front by a few meters, Matrix and Saffron were side by side. The User tripped over a rock, taking out Matrix. He pinned him to the ground, “Go!” Saffron saw the final line coming up, with a 6 meter canyon in front of it. She ran as fast as she could, the User knocked Matrix away and was running again. She leapt off the edge, her legs like jelly and her body feeling like lead. She made it and rolled over the finish line. “GAME OVER!” The game lifted off the 6 exhausted sprites. Saffron was stretched out on the grass, heaving air in. She sat up as her gun was digging into her back. Everyone was around, catching their breath. “Wow! That was and interesting Game. 2 chances to beat the User.” Commented Bob as everyone regained their bearings. Saffron nodded. “I’ve beaten one before, but several opportunity games are popping up all over systems.” “How do you know?” Asked Mouse curiously. “I’m a Game Hopper, I see a lot of different Games.” “You’re a Game Hopper! Why?” Called Matrix. “I’m on the run from these bounty hunters. They want my icon, and my head, or both.” “Why?” Asked Dot. Saffron smiled. “I’ve got the latest in Guardian technology. An icon that can change to any icon, including AI Game Sprite.” “AI Game Sprite!?” Said AndrAIa. Tapping her icon to Game Sprite mode. Saffron nodded. “Yeah. They go for about 15000 units on the Web Market. And the Guardian collective wants me for studies. I was infected by a virus, causing it to change. The virus was killed, leaving the icon in tact. They wanna find out how, that means cutting me into pieces… I don’t think so!” “So you left?” Asked Bob. Saffron nodded. “Yep, they call me the girl renegade!” “Is anybody else thirsty?” Asked Ray, changing the subject. “Yeah.” Replied AndrAIa. Dot smiled, “We’ll go to the Diner, care to join us Saffron?” Saffron smiled, “Sure.” They walked into the Diner a few micros later. “BOB!” Screamed the teen Enzo. He didn’t smash him over anymore, but he kept Bob on his toes a lot. “Hi Enzo.” Replied Bob, smiling at the boy. “Hello madam.” Said a service unit as it approached Dot. “Hello Cecil. We’ll have 8 energy shakes.” “Of course madam!” It wheeled off and they all sat down in a booth. Enzo came running over. “Hey Enzo! How was the Game!?” Matrix rolled his eyes, “I told you to call me Matrix!” Enzo shrugged. “It’d be like calling me Matrix! So who cares!?” Saffron raised an eyebrow. “Long story.” Said AndrAIa as she sat down. “Hey Enzo! Com’n!” Called another male sprite. He had silver hair and green skin. “Coming man!” He called He jumped up and walked over to him. “Hey Bot!” Dot came out of the kitchen. “Hi Bot! How are you?” Bot nodded. “Good mom!” She passed out the energy shakes to everyone. “Hey who’s the babe?” Called out Bot. “Hey yeah!” Called Enzo. He hadn’t even noticed. Her loved the Games and when one had just gone he didn’t care about anything else. “Bot, Enzo, this is Saffron.” Replied Dot. Saffron turned and smiled at the two, then turned back around and sipped at her energy shake. “Can we show her around!?” Called Enzo. Saffron rolled her eyes. Dot shrugged. “I gotta get going anyway.” She said as she stood up. “Thanks for beating the User suga!” Said Mouse with a smile. “Leaving already!?” Said Dot sadly. “You could stay. Mainframe isn’t a big trade route. Not many people come through here.” Saffron tossed her shake into the bin. “I’ll think about it” She walked out the door with Enzo and Bot following right behind her. “Is that a real gun!?” Asked Bot curiously as he walked beside Saffron. “Did you really win the Game!?” Asked Enzo. Saffron rolled her eyes. “Yes.” “Yes to what?” Asked Bot. “To both.” “Cool!” They said at the same time. “Why weren’t you two in the Game?” She asked. The two frowned. “Dot won’t let us.” “Wow! Tough break.” “What do you mean?” Asked Enzo. Saffron shrugged. “I started Game Hopping when I was 0.1” Enzo and Bot’s jaw dropped. “That young!?” Gasped Bot, “You Game Hop!?” Gasped Enzo. Saffron nodded. “Yep.” Saffron kept walking, the two boys following, eager to know more. “So if you have a Guardian Icon… why aren’t you protecting a system like my dad does?” Asked Bot. “They wouldn’t let me.” “So what status did they give you?” Asked Enzo. “Renegade.” She replied, still practically ignoring the two. “Cool!” They cooed at the same time. “Why are you following me?” She asked turning to face the two. They shrugged. “Well what are you doing?” Enzo asked, “Looking for a tear.” She replied, searching the area. “Impossible, dad gets all the tears stabilized in Mainframe before they can damage half a sector.” Bot replied proudly. “Damn. Ah well, I’ll just Game Hop outta here.” “Are you meant to be how old you are?” Asked Enzo, “Yeah. Game Time isn’t accelerated for my icon. I grew normally.” “You can say that again.” Bot commented quietly to Enzo. He nodded. Saffron turned around and headed back towards the Diner.
