| The Daemon Saga Finale – The Final Battle “You’re far too weak to fight any of us now” Shouted Enzo. The Crew plus Mike and Hex were standing in a group in front of the diner. TenFour and TwoSix were listening. He continued “…so why don’t you just clear off?” “Foolish child” TenFour said. “You really don’t know how strong we can really be, do you?” TwoSix took over “Dr. Zero provided us with an unlimited upgrade engine. We are indestructible by force alone. But, as we see, you are far stronger than the two of us. For now. TenFour, are you ready?” “When you are” TenFour said. “The form you are about to witness is the advance of our power” TwoSix said. The two held hands and they began to melt into one being. The creature grew and shrank, and drained away to leave a large sprite, larger than any before seen. “Hah!” it said, in a brash, loud voice. “We are now I. And I am Error!” “Attack!” Shouted Bob. Enzo, Matrix and Laser, all powered up, ran toward the creature. In a nanosecond, three perfect punches hit their target. Error didn’t even flinch. All three sprites attacked from every angle at once, but the attacks were all skillfully blocked. The three tried to increase their speed, but even the quickest attacks were blocked. Finally the three collapsed, completely exhausted. “Is that the best you can do? Really, now. I would have expected better from the scary SuperSprites!” Error said, mockingly. “Now it’s my turn” He gave Enzo a giant kick, sending him flying into the diner wall. He picked up Laser and threw him high into the air, then grabbed Matrix’s feet and swung him around and around, and finally threw him at the descending Laser. Contact was imminent and painful. “Now, for the rest of you” Error said, walking toward the rest of the group. “Not so fast” shouted Mouse, who drew her kitana. “You think that plaything will affect me?” Error said, almost shocked. “We’ll see” Mouse said. She slashed the kitana at Error’s arm. With the soft chink of metal on metal, the kitana cracked and broke on his arm. She looked at the spot where it hit. No damage at all! Se suddenly felt very sick. “I still have my fists!” she yelled, and ran at Error, ready for a punch. He gracefully took hold of her fist, and threw her over his shoulder. “You shouldn’t have tried that,” he said, turning to her, raising his foot over her head. “You will be the first to die!” Just before he brought his foot down, he was hit on the back of the head by a surfboard, held by Ray. It had little force, but took him by surprise, and he fell forward, giving Mouse enough time to get back with the rest. “Very clever” Error said, getting to his feet. Then, Bob stepped into the fight. “Take Enzo’s advice,” he said, “I’m warning you” “No, Bob. We will fight right now!” Error said, and ran at Bob. Bob and Error fought for at least a microsecond. They were both equally strong as each other. “What a challenge!” Error said, when they broke off. “It seems I will have to upgrade again!” He stood still, and a green radiation glow crept around his body, until his whole body was glowing. This started to shatter off, and as little portions broke and fell to the ground, in its place steel skin grew. The sprite was now covered in reflective silver, and looked a lot stronger than Error, let alone any of the others. “I am now Pentium.” He said. “Now, Bob. It’s time” The two went into combat again, but Pentium was almost infinitely superior to bob now, and as Bob was beginning to feel tired, Pentium punched him hard in the stomach, and he flew into the diner wall. “Dot…” Bob said, “…get away. Hide” “Right” said Dot, and unhooked her zipboard. With a zap she was off. Then Bob fainted. Pentium looked around at the unconscious sprites around him. Time to finish them off, he thought. He counted them. “Wait a nano!” He said, surprised. “Where’s the game spite?” “Looking for me?” AndrAIa said, as he brought her trident down hard on Pentium’s head. He looked up at her, with a trickle of blue fluid running from a dent in his head. In a flash, he grabbed her neck in one hand and lifted her off the ground. She struggled to free herself. He was slowly choking her. “I was wrong” He looked at her with evil eyes “You will be the first to die. I win AndrAIa. Game over.” He grinned a nasty grin and tightened his grip. “Let her go!!” Matrix yelled. Pentium turned around slowly, still gripping her neck. Matrix was surrounded by a thick red glow, and his hair had grown much longer, was a pure white, and was defying gravity. His muscles had grown incredibly. “Let her go!!” he shouted again. AndrAIa heard Pentium say “…UltraSprite?” Pentium threw AndrAIa to the ground, nanoseconds before she suffocated. Then Matrix and Pentium went into a battle she would never forget…Both sprites were equally matched for strength and speed, but in the latter part of the battle, Matrix had the upper hand. He was about the deliver the finishing punch when he heard Pentium cry out “Dr. Zero. I’ve failed!” Nanos before Matrix delivered the final blow; Pentium grasped onto Matrix’s arm with a tight grip. Pentium gave Matrix a crushing bear hug, and cried “Self-Destruct!!” An explosion rocked the ground around, and when the smoke cleared Pentium was in bits, and Matrix was nowhere to be seen. “I…don’t think he…survived that explosion,” AndrAIa said.
