| What is Mithral?
It's a magical metal, which is very light, lusterless, and really great for making weapons out of.
Where do I get it?
There are two places.
1- Go talk to Arion, an apprentice mage sitting in the Inn of Blades, in Krizsan Province. He'll tell you that north of there, just north of a bridge and some trees are some lumps of metal, and that if you give them to him he'll reward you. Take the metal lumps, but don't give them to him. That's your first supply of mithral right there.
2- Go talk to Athron, a dragon, and ask here about the beasts. She'll tell you to take some metal lumps out of the middle chest just to the south. Do NOT go in the other chests!!!
Important!
Do not carry both bunches of mithral at once!!!!!
Where do I get it made into a broadsword?
Go to Lennus, in northeast Karnold Province, and go through the annoying building with the webs and bolts of light, and ask Carmine, the guy inside, about metal. Then, go wherever for five days. When you come back, ask him about metal again, and he'll give you a Mithral Broadsword. Now, go get more mithral, and get another Mithral Broadsword!
