My story: Red XIII Gone Insane (FF7 version of Cujo)
PS- The Shinra Inc. are in this story, even though they are not supposed to. But don't worry!

Setting: 1 year after they killed Sephiroth

Tifa: I'm glad that's over with!
Cloud: Yeah I know!
Red XIII: What happens now?
Vincent: I don't know!
Yuffie(In her mind): I can't go back to Wutai without materia. I'll try to sneak some from Cid.
Yuffie walks to Cid. She reaches for his materia. Cid sees what she is doing and puts his spear up to her head.
Cid: DON'T...THINK ABOUT IT!
Yuffie: Never mind.
Barret: Red XIII. I was wondering. Since Hojo did these experiments on you, wouldn't something happen to you?
Red XIII: I don't know!
Red XIII walks away.
Cait Sith: It's over 2:00 AM. I'm going to bed!
Tifa: Nighty night Caity
Cait Sith: DON'T CALL ME THAT!
Cait Sith goes to bed. Everyone else soon follows.
Setting: Cosmo Canyon
Red XIII: What if he's right? What if something happens to me? I...feel...what's...happening...?
Red XIII feels strange. His teeth grow longer and sharper. His fur gets all messed up. His mind goes crazy. The results of Hojo's experiments caused Red XIII to become Rabid. Red XII leaves Cosmo Canyon looking for everyone else. He goes to Midgar. Searching for everyone and...kill.

Setting: Midgar

Yuffie: I wonder where Red XIII is? He hasn't been here in 3 days. What could have happened to him? gasp
Yuffie sees Red XIII in a fog. She realizes something is wrong. Red XIII growls at her.
Yuffie: Red XIII? Are you OK? It's ME! Yuffie! Don't worry! I'm not going to hurt you!
Red XIII walks away from Yuffie. Yuffie runs to Cloud.
Yuffie: Something is wrong with Red XIII. He's a little odd.
Cloud: Don't try it. Everytime you say something, it is always a joke.
Yuffie: This isn't a joke. I'm going to tell Budenhagen!
Cloud: NO! Just leave!
Yuffie: Fine.
Yuffie leaves.
Cloud: She still tries to do this to me! I have to get going!
Cloud leaves for a vacation to Costa del Sol. Barret is walking to 7th Heaven.
Barret: I batter get everyone here.
Barret hears something.
Barret: What the?
Red XIII walks to him.
Barret: Red XIII? Is that you?
Red XIII runs at him. Barret runs into the bar.
Barret: Red XIII! STOP!
Red XIII jumps on Barret and bites at his neck. Barret screams in pain, but Red XIII continues to bite him. Barret tries shooting at him, but misses and Red XIII finally bites Barret's head. Cid walks in. He sees that something is wrong. As he walks, he soon finds Barret lying on the floor dead.
Cid: OH MY GOD!
Red XIII growls.
Cid: Red XIII, you're rabid!
Red XIII growls and barks at him.
Cid: Red XIII? You did this!?
Cid runs. Red XIII follows.
Cid: I have to stop him.
Cid gets his spear out, but Red XIII grabs his spear and takes it out of his hand. Red XIII rams into his feet and Cid falls. Red XIII bites him in the chest. Cid collapses to the ground. Red XIII leaves 7th Heaven searching for Tifa and Marlene. It begins to snow REALLY HARD!
-----------------------------------------------------------Chapter 3
Setting: Midgar Highway. Tifa and Marlene are in a car.

Marlene: Where are we going?
Tifa: To Nibelhiem.
Marlene: Why there?
Tifa: I have to check on the reactor. I heard there are problems with it.
Marlene: Oh.
Marlene puts the radio on. "The Bear Went Over the Mountain" from Dumb and Dumber plays.
Tifa: What is this?
Marlene: I don't know. I just turned it on.
Tifa: Oh.
Tifa puts Tori Amos on.
Marlene: Do we HAVE to listen to this? We ALWAYS listen to this!
Tifa: Yes we do. When I drive, I listen to what I want. When you drive, you can listen to what you want.
Marlene: Moan. Fine.
Tifa and Marlene reach Nibelheim. They check the reactor and sees that it is OK. They go back to the car and the car doesn't start.
Tifa: Oh NOOOOOOO!
Marlene: What happened?
Tifa: Nothing sweeeety!
Tifa tries to get the car started, but it doesn't work.
Tifa: It's snowing really bad. I hope we don't have to be here for long.
They wait 1 hour.
Tifa: That's it.
Tifa opens the door and begins to run into the Inn. She hears a growl.
Tifa: What the?
She sees something charging at her.
Tifa: OH MY GOD!
Tifa runs to the car again. She runs in, closes the door, and the beast tries to get in through the window.
Tifa: What is that thing?
Marlene: It looked looked like a rabid dog.
Tifa: Well, looks like we'll be here for a REALLY long time.
-----------------------------------------------------------Chapter 4

Setting: Shinra Inc.

Heidegger: I'm a little worried about the Turks. We lost contact with them about 3 days ago.
Rufus: So why are you so worried?
Heidegger: I don't think we can afford losing our spies.
Rufus: You're right. Go after them.
Heidegger: Sir, the last I've heard from them was in Nibelheim. You're crazy if you think I'm going out there in this blizzard.
Rufus: Scared Santa Claus? Fine, I'll go!
Rufus leaves.
Setting: Nibelhiem
Tifa: It's FREEEEEZING IN HERE!
Marlene: The snow is beginning to die down.
Tifa: You're right! I'll try to get to the Inn.
Tifa steps out of the car. She begins to walk in the snow. She sees something in front of her.
Tifa: Rufus?
Rufus: Tifa?
Tifa: What are you doing here?
Rufus: That's none of your business. What are YOU doing here?
Tifa: I came to check the reactor. My car broke down, it began to snow hard, and there is this creature on the loose.
Rufus: Creature?
Tifa: Don't you believe me?
Rufus: Why should I?
Tifa: For your own safety, just watch out.
Rufus: I don't know what you mean, but...
The beast jumps from behind Tifa and lands on Rufus. He begins to chew up his stomach.
Tifa: OH MY GOD!
Marlene: AAAAAHHHHHHH!
Tifa: Marlene! DON'T WATCH!
Marlene closes her eyes and covers her ears. Tifa continues to watch the beast gut Rufus. The beast stops and walks back. Tifa looks at Rufus and sees all of his intestines thrown out from his torn shirt.
Tifa: Jesus Christ!
The beast looks at Tifa and begins to run at her. Tifa runs back into the care. She begins to close the door, but the beast gets in and jumps on top of her. Marlene hides in the back.
Marlene: Tifa. TIFA! AAAAAAAAHHHHHH! TIFA!
The beast bites Tifa in the leg.
Tifa: AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Tifa kicks the beast out of the car and shuts the door. She lays back with her leg covered in blood. Marlene begins to cry.
Tifa: What...is this...thing?
Tifa looks out the window. She looks at the beast. She then gasps in horror.
Tifa: R...R...Red XIII!?
Red XIII leaves Nibelhiem and goes back to Midgar.
Tifa: Oh my god...the one who was...there was...Red XIII!
------------------------------------------------------------Chapter 5

Setting: Midgar. Red XIII is running towards the Shinra Inc.
Scarlet: The President hasn't been heard from in hours. Maybe something is wrong.
Heidegger: Gwa ha ha ha...Scarlet, why are you acting so weak? Is it because you are worried about Rufus?
Scarlet: He IS the President.
Heidegger: I know what is in your heart.
Scarlet: I have no heart!
Heidegger: OH! Then why do you have a major crush on him then?
Scarlet turns around and blushes.
Heidegger: Just as I thought. Gwa ha ha ha...
Scarlet: SHUT UP!
Heidegger: Gwa ha ha ha...ha ha...ha ha ahhhhhhhhhhh!
Red XIII jumps on Heidegger's back and rips his back into peices.
Scarlet: Who knew this would happen.
Red XIII turns around and looks at Scarlet.
Scarlet: WHOA! You're that specimen that Hojo was working on...
Red XIII runs towards Scarlet.
Scarlet: AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!
Red XIII jumps into the air, opens his mouth, and bites through Scarlet's chest. Red XIII walks off.
Hojo: Ha ha ha...Now that Scarlet, Heidegger, and Rufus are gone, I can do things MY WAY! HA HA HA...
Hojo hears a growl.
Hojo: Who's there?
Red XIII walks out of the shadows.
Hojo: My precious specimen.
Red XIII shows his teeth at Hojo.
Hojo: What is this?
Red XIII jumps onto Hojo and bites his neck.
Hojo: STOOOOOP!
Red XIII bites Hojo's Head off. Red XIII leaves Midgar to return to Nibelhiem.
-----------------------------------------------------------Chapter 6
Setting: Nibelheim. Tifa is going crazy

Tifa: I'm going crazy. I'm going crazy. Get out of here you stupid dog. Get out of here you stupid dog.
Tifa looks around for Red XIII. She then looks at Marlene. She notices that Marlene has icicles hanging off her.
Tifa: Marlene? Marlene. Marlene! MARLENE!
Tifa tries to help Mrlene. She notices that Marlene is almost frozen to death.
Tifa: I have to get out of here! Before Marlene dies.
Tifa looks everywhere and Red XIII isn't in sight.
Tifa: OK! Red XIII isn't anywhre near here. Better get out NOW!
She then sees Rude walk into Nibelhiem.
Tifa: Oh great. Not baldy boy!
Tifa hides in the car and watches Rude.
Rude: Rufus was supposed to be here. Maybe, he left?
Tifa watches Rude walk around a bit. Reno and Elena foolow behind him.
Reno: This is boring.
Elena: It's freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezing here. How long do we have to be here?
Reno: Who knows. Maybe until we find Rufus.
Rude: Will you guys just shut up and get to work?
Reno: Who died and made you leader?
Rude: ............
Elena: May I PLEASE leave? Can we go somewhere warm, like Costa del Sol?
Rude: NO!
Reno: Not until we find Rufus.
Elena: Look! I'm freezing my butt off out here! Rufus probably turned into a President Popsicle. CAN WE JUST GOOOOOOOOO?!
They can hear Elena's voice echo in the mountains. Suddenly they hear a growl.
Tifa: Oh no. Not him again!
Rude: Stay here.
Rude walks a bit further. He sees 2 red eys look at him. The eyes come closer and closer. Rude then sees the figure.
Rude: HEY! I know you! You're that one dog-like beast that was with Cloud!
Red XIII jupms on Rude.
Reno: Rude! What's happening!
Red XIIIis dragging Rude into mountains.
Rude: AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!
Elena: RUDE! THIS IS NO TIME TO JOKE!
Rude's voice dissapears.
Reno: COme on. Let's follow him.
Elena: OK. But let's hurry, so I won't freeze anymore!
Reno: Shut up Elena. You're a Turk.
Reno and Elena run to where Rude was last seen.
-----------------------------------------------------------Chapter 7

Setting: Mt. Nibel

Reno: Where could he be?
Elena: It's even colder up here than it was in Nibelhiem.
Reno: SHUT UP ELENA!
Reno notices blood.
Reno: Hey. Do you think that's...
Reno follows the blood trail.
Elena: Go on! FREEZE TO DEATH! I'M LEAVING!
Elena begins to walk down the mountain. She trips on a rock.
Elena: OWWWW! Supid rock...OH MY GOD!
Elena sees Rude's body torn to pieces.
Elena: What the h*** happened?!
Elena hears a growl. She stands up and runs.
Elena: Did that thing kill Rude? Reno will die if he stays up there! But who cares.
Elena runs down until Red XIII jumps in front of her.
Elena: Crap.
Elena backsup a bit until Red XIII knocks Elena down and bites at her arms and tears them off. Elena screams.
Reno: Is that Elena?
Reno runs down to where she is and finds her dead.
Reno: Jesus Christ!
Reno gets worried and begins to leave. He leaves the mountain and tries to walk out of Nibelhiem.
Reno: If Elena's dead, then Rude must be dead too.
Reno walks a bit more until he looks down and finds Rufus dead. He looks behind him and finds Red XIII ready to kill him.
-----------------------------------------------------------Chapter 8

Setting: Nibelheim

Reno: ALRIGHT YOUS TUPID BEAST! You killed Rude, Elena, Rufus, and God knows who else! You're going to pay.
Reno begins to fight Red XIII. About 30 minutes later Reno is tired.
REno: I can't let my guard down. I have to kill this...whatever it is.
Tifa: IT'S RED XIII!
Reno turns around sees Tifa holding Marlene out of their busted car.
Tifa: He's not normal. He's rabid and is on a killing rampage!
Reno: Yeah, right.
Tifa: Look for yourself!
REno looks at Red XIII and recognizes him.
Reno: OH MY GOD! You're right!
Tifa: I'd suggest you'd run!
Red XIII growls really loud. Reno covers his ears and Red XIII rams into him, knocking him to the ground. Reno tries to get up.
Tifa: RED XIII! STOP! PLEASE STOP!
Red XIII raises his claws and jams them into Reno.
Tifa: RED XIII! STOOOOOOOOP!
Red XIII bites into Reno's chest and eats his heart.
Tifa: STOOOOOP YOU STUPID ANIMAL!
Red XIII takes a glance at Tifa.
-----------------------------------------------------------Chapter 9

Setting: Some cave

Tifa and Marlene are inside. A huge monster appears and goes after Tifa nd Marlene.
Marlene and Tifa: AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!
The monster kills Tifa and Marlene.
Cloud: NOOOO!
Cloud wakes up.
Cloud: A dream. It was all a dream. But something is wrong. Tifa and Marlene are in trouble. I have to help them!
Cloud leaves Costa del Sol and looks for Tifa and Marlene.
Setting:Nibelhiem
Red XIII looks at Tifa. Tifa puts Marlene back into the car and shuts the door.
Tifa: That's it Red XIII. I've tried escaping from this f***ing car, trying to make you stop killing people, and negotiate with you. But you're not listening. I have no choice, but to attack you.
Tifa fights Red XIII. Red XIII tries to bites Tifa, but she is dodging him, and attacking and casting magic.
Setting: Outside of Nibelhiem
Cloud is running toawrds Nibelheim, where he can hear Tifa and Red XIII fight.
Cloud(In his mind): Hold on Tifa. I'm coming to get you and Marlene out of here! Just hold on!
Cloud runs into Nibelheim and finds Tifa on the ground casting FullCure on herself. He looks at the beast.
Cloud: Red XIII? Is that Red XIII?
Tifa: CLOUD! You came! Red XIII is rabid and has gone insane!
Cloud: I'll stop him!
Tifa: NO DON'T! He killed Rude, Elena, Reno, Rufus, and probably everyone else!
Cloud: I'll put an end to this. Get Marlene and run into the Inn. HURRY!
Tifa: Alright Cloud.
Tifa grabs Marlene and runs into the Inn. Cloud gets ready for the final battle with Red XIII.
-----------------------------------------------------------Final Chapter

Setting: Nibelheim

Cloud: Red XIII. I trusted you. But you do all of this! I don't want to do this, but I have no choice but to kill you.
Cloud draws his sword and is swining at Red XIII. Red XIII is dodging it and tries to scratch and bite Cloud.
Tifa: DIE!
Tifa grabs an icicle hanging off the Inn and runs to help Cloud.
Cloud: TIFA! Go inisde! You're safer there!
Tifa: I've put up with this dog, and I will help finish him.
Tifa jabs the icicle through Red XIII's right eyes and he falls to the ground. Cloud and Tifa walk inside the Inn and try to save Marlene.
Tifa: Marlene. You can't die. PLEASE!
Cloud: Hang in there Marlene.
Tifa warms Marlene up. She opens her eyes.
MArlene: T...Tifa?
Tifa: MARLENE! YOU'RE ALIVE!
Tifa hugs Marlene. Cloud watches them and looks out the window. Red XIII jumps through the window.
Cloud: YOU'RE NOT DEAD!
Cloud takes his sword and cuts Red XIII's head off.
Marlene: Cloud. You killed the monster.
Cloud: Yes, but now we don't have Red XIII with us.
Lifestream eneters the room and surrounds Red XIII. A bright white light appears and Red XIII stands up.
Red XIII: What's going on?
Tifa: Red XIII? You're not rabid anymore?
Red XIII: Yeah. I just feel sad for what I did to everyone.
Tifa: Let's go back to Midgar.
Cloud, Tifa, Marlene, and Red XIII go back into Midgar and find that everyone is OK.
Red XIII: Everyone is alive again! I killed them and they're alive!
Tifaa: Does that mean that Rufus and the turks are alive too?
Red XIII: Maybe.
Cloud: Let's just hope that nothing like this will ever happen again.
