Aeris Gainsborough is a beautiful flower seller in the Sector 5 slums. She was from the town of Icicle Inn. Her mother was Ifalna and her father was Professor Gast. She joins Cloud after she meets him after the Number 1 reactor blew up. She may not be powerful in strength, but VERY powerful in magic. Her limit Breaks are magic type. She useful for magic. In my opinion, Aeris is a great ally. She's my favorite charachter. She is one of the best magic casters. I suggest you keep her in your party. (As long as she is around)

Tifa Lockheart has been Cloud's childood friend in the past. She may not be powerful at first, but in my game, she got stronger each time I fought. Her Limi Breaks are in a chain, so she can perform them all if you land them on Hit or Yeah. She has strong feelings for Cloud, but will never admit it. In Disc 2, she plays an
important role when Cloud is trying to find himself.

Yuffie Kisaragi is 16 years old and comes from a long line of ninja. Because of her age and how she was brought up, she may be a little spoiled. She may not be powerful at first, but towards the end, she is 1 of the most powerful. Her interest is materia, and can handle them REALLY well. At 1 point in Disc 1, she steals ALL of your materia.

Cloud Strife was Tifa's childhood friend in the past. He wanted to be in SOLDIER, but never made it. He told everyone that he was in First Class. You don't have a choice but to have Cloud unil Disc 2. He tries to find himself when he and Tifa fell in the Lifestream. His Limit Breaks are VERY powerful. He wants to settle the score with Sephiroth.

Vincent Valentine joins Cloud and the others to stop Hojo. He was a Turk in the past and fell in love with a woman named Lucrecia. Hojo convinced her to be experimented by Gast. Vincent was aginst this. When Sephiroth was born from Hojo and Lucrecia, Vincent knew what was happening. He went to Hojo and Hojo shot Vincent. While he was knocked out, Hojo performed experiments on Vincent. When Vincent awoke, he changed into a monster. That's why he changes form when on his limit breaks.

Barret Wallace is the leader of AVALANCHE. He tries to stop the Shinra from sucking up Lifestream and destroing the planet. He gets all caught up with Sephiroth. He lives with Dyne's daughter, Marlene. When he lived in Corel, Scarlet and her soldiers tried to kill Dyne and Barret. They only got shot in the arm. Both had the same operation. They had guns grafted in. Barret is more of a physical person rather than a magic person. He can't handle materia well.

Cait Sith is an odd ally. He is a toy that is controlled by Reeve, one of the Shinra executives. He at first spys on you, so that's why the Turks meet up with you. Cait Sith tells you the truth AFTER he gave Tseng the Key to the Temple of the Ancients. He spys on the Shinra afterwards. He does this ALOT in Disc 2. He only has 2 Limit Breaks. I don't like Cait Sith much.

Cid Highwind hates the Shinra becuase years ago, he was to be the first man in space. He almost did, but Shera was checking the rocket when the countdown began. He aborts the mission to save her life. The Shinra soon gets rid of the space program and Cid got mad. He and Cloud are the only 2 guys that can have triple materia growth. He knows alot about machinery and is a very powerful ally.

Red XIII is a beast who was experimented by Hojo. His father Seto, died protecting Cosmo Canyon. Red XIII is 48, but in human years, that would be about 15 or 16. He is very wise. He is also a great ally. He can handle magic well. His limit breaks are both defensive as well as offensive.

Sephiroth is one of the main enemies in the game. He was a general for the Shinra and turned bad when he found out about the JENOVA project. He was told that his mother was JENOVA, but was actually Lucrecia. Hojo is his father. Sephiroth does horrible things, like burns Nibelheim, kills millions of people, and kills Aeris. :(
