And So The Story Begins...
Seven kids at summer camp are mysteriously transported to another reality where they are befriended by a group of strange creatures who call themselves "DigiMon," digital monsters. The seven companion DigiMon prove to be more than good company when they transform into larger digital monsters and fight as a team to defend the kids from a giant red beetle DigiMon.

Now for some profiles.

Tai's
Adventurous, athletic and a born leader, Tai is usually the first to spring into action. His aggressive personality often throws him into the path of danger. He begins to realize, however, that to be a true leader he must inspire the others' confidence, and that can mean using empathy and compassion rather than reckless courage.Tai's digimon are Koromon,Agumon, Greymon and Metal greymon.

KOROMON
This is a mini size DigiMon who lost its baby hair and its body has grown. While it can actively move around, it still cannot fight. It scares opponents by emitting bubble-like substances from its mouth.

AGUMON
Lizard DigiMon
Now this reptile DigiMon has grown two feet to walk with. He does not have a lot of power since he is still growing, but his personality is fierce and he is not afraid of anything. He attacks opponents by breathing out flames.

GREYMON
Great DigiMon
This is a dinosaur type DigiMon whose skin on his head became hardened and covered with a beetle-like shell. He has sharp claws and giant antlers making his whole body a weapon. He is a fierce and very aggressive monster. But he is very intelligent and if you can control him, he is the most powerful among the champions. He shoots out flame bombs to burn everything in sight.

METAL GREYMON
Cyborg DigiMon
This is a cyber-type DigiMon. More than half of his body is mechanized. He has been throught many battles and extends his life by mechanizing his body. In order to evolve to a Metal Greymon, DigiMon has to battle its way against strong opponents. His attack power is said to equal one shot of a nuclear bomb. He shoots a missile from a hatch located on his chest.

Sora
With a strong sense of duty, Sora is the group's mature voice of reason. Perceived as a tomboy, she would love to cut loose and have a rip-roaring adventure, but instead she takes on the responsibility of keeping the others safe. She's compelled to do so because she's not convinced Tai can handle the situation.Sora's digimon are Yokomon,Biyomon and Birdmon.

Matt
A born rebel, Matt doesn't always appreciate other opinions and prefers to do things his own way. Seen by others as "too cool," he tries to hide the introspective, sensitive side of his personality, but it sometimes comes through when he deals with his little brother, T.K.Matt's digimon are Tsunomon,Gabumon and Garurumon.

Mimi
"Daddy's little princess" is completely out of place in the wilds of the DigiWorld. Eccentric and borderline airhead, Mimi can come across as self-centered, but she is not selfish. She has a sweet, caring personality, but she can become so caught up in herself that she doesn't see what's really going on.Mimi's digimon are Tanemon,Palmon and Togemon.

T.k
Sweet natured, generous, and the youngest member of the group, T.K. tries to be brave because he doesn't want the others to know he's afraid, and he wants to impress his big brother, Matt. An obedient youngster, he strives to always do the right thing.T.K digimon are Tokomon,Patamon and Angemon.

Izzy
The ultimate computer whiz. Precocious and imaginative, he has a theory about everything. With his love of high-end technology and computers, the DigiWorld would seem to be the perfect place for him, but Izzy is too preoccupied with his own thoughts and tends to not see the danger around him.Izzy digimon are Motimon,Tentomon and Kabuterimon.

Joe
A pessimist and hypochondriac, Joe thrives on worrying. Convinced that if anything can go wrong it will, his worry leads to constant indecision that results in panic. Although the other kids tease him about his incessant worrying, many times he is right.Joe's digimon are Bukamon,Gomamon and Ikkakumon.

Kari
Kari is Tai's little sister. She was intended to be one of the DigiDestined team from the beginning, but she had the flu and couldn't go to camp with the others.

Kari is a pocket mystic. Wise beyond her years, Kari is also full of compassion and patience. She's still a kid, though, and sometimes her empathy outstrips her judgement. However, you can be sure that everything Kari does is done for the right reasons.Kari's digimon are Nyromon,Salamon and Gatomon

The evil digimon are Devimon,Etimon and Kuwagamon.

AIRDRAMON
Dragon DigiMon
This is an imaginary monster type DigiMon which has a giant mane. He is a very rare monster whose specialty is an attack from the sky. His roaring causes a storm, and a giant tornado is caused when he flaps his wings. He is very ferocious but highly intelligent.

BETAMON
Frog DigiMon
This is a four footed amphibian DigiMon. He is a gentle and quiet DigiMon, but he can attack opponents by emitting more than 1 million volts of electric current if provoked.

BOTAMON
Slimy DigiMon
This is a digital monster who was just born. The surface of its body is slimy and covered with black baby hair. It cannot fight since it is just a baby, but it scares off its opponents by emitting bubble-like substances from its mouth.

DARKMON
Dark DigiMon
This is the fallen angel DigiMon who covers himself with a true dark cloth. He was originally a shiny angel DigiMon, but was lured to the dark side and went down. He is wicked and ferocious, but he is very loyal to its master with whom it has concluded a pact. In battle, he stretches his arm and defeats his opponent with his wicked claws.

MAMEMON
Mutant DigiMon
This is a mutant DigiMon which has evolved through the harsh environment. While he looks cute, he has a fearsome, destructive power. He is probably the second most powerful Digimon. His giant hands act as powerful bombs, and are detachable. His nickname is Smiley Bomber.

MERAMON
Fire DigiMon
This is a fire DigiMon whose whole body is covered with red flames. His personality is intense like fire and he burns everyhting that touches him. It is very hard to control this monster and even if you do, you will never know when he might turn against you. In his special blow technique, "Burning Fist", he attacks his opponents with his blazing arms.

NUMEMON
Slug DigiMon
This is a mollusk type DigiMon which has a body like a slug. He prefers dark and damp environments and has no offensive force or intelligence. Your DigiMon will grow up to be a Numemon if your don't raise it the right way, but he is said to have a deep secret. In order to protect himself from others, he uses a secret weapon.

SEADRAMON
Serpent DigiMon
This is an aquatic DigiMon which has a long snake-like body. He wraps his body around his opponent and squeezes it until it gives up. He has almost no intelligence and acts by giving in to his instinct.

TEDDYMON
Teddy DigiMon
Everything about this DigiMon is secret. He looks like an ordinary stuffed bear. People say that there is someone inside since he has a zipper on his back. He makes his opponent happy with love flowing from his cute body (although his eyes are scary), but he uses his special attack technique to defeat his opponents.

TYRANOMON
Dino DigiMon
He is a dinousaur-like monster similar to a prehistoric dinosaur. His two arms are quite developed and he can swing his giant tail to knock down anything. He is intelligent and gentle, so it is easy to control him.
