The opening ceremony began. All participants in the tournament entered the battle arena and shook hands with each other and the referees. All participants were nervous except Goku and Vegeta who both had the greatest confidence in that they would win. The only thing those two had to fear everybody thought was each other. Every body was warming up and waiting for the matches to be named. Meanwhile a few of the Masters walked to their designated places encouraging all the participants to do the best they could. The medics were busy installing a table with senzu beans. The dragonballs were laid down under the table. Now the common people started to walk in and filled the stadium, which had been especially built for this tournament, in no time. The two teams were just talking among themselves now. It appeared that if there would be a battle between the two teams each person would find its match. Suddenly the referee started to explain the rules and all were quiet. “This is a clean tournament I want no helping at all. If somebody helps you your both disqualified. If you fight someone from your own team, too bad, just live with it. You can use any move you like and any ability you feel is necessary, with one exception: you can only use Space Compatibility if your opponent has the ability to. This is a tournament for individual prices, not for the honor of the team. If the lot of you want a team battle after the tournament, fine.” With this the Referee went back to his place. Then slowly the noise went up again until everybody was talking. A few minutes later the first matches were called. “the first match will be between….”
