| MAMA You taught me well, You raised me up, in this big old world we call home. You taught me how to care, And how to love myself. MAMA You taught me how to see, you taught me almost everything. For this I am grateful. But MAMA, you left out one important thing. Maybe I'm dreaming, Maybe, its just a figment of my imagination, Maybe its not real. But Mama, you didn't warn me to well. Not about the ways of Men.. Their lying, cheating, back stabbin, no good ways. They tell you, sweet things, like "Baby, I love you" And get you a swoonin, then they step all over your heart. MAMA You taught well, you taught me how to feel. And how to be a sensual woman. But you left out the most important thing. But thats ok, as I have learned on my own. I guess that was my lesson, to not give my heart away. Someday I will have a child, and I will teach them , the ways of the world.
