  That thing you think is really wrong in the world? There is a lesson in it, no matter how hurtful and intolerably evil and unnecessary it appears to be. But this may not be a good time to point this out to you. True wisdom is listening, understanding, loving, letting others grow along their chosen (or unchosen) paths, growing along our own path. Lessons are not apparent during the teaching. That's what's so hard. A great spiritual lesson may have the feel of impossible futility as the ego struggles to justify and assert its self-serving way. The ego can wear the mantle of apparent nobility and good works while being totally selfish, trying to shape things its way. It takes the lessons of death, failure, and humiliation to complete our understanding of life. These are devastating experiences. The lesson, ultimately, is to love anyhow.
