 There is a notion that suffering is unnecessary. I agree with that. Unfortunately suffering is necessary in order to learn that. And so paradoxes churn their energetic wisdom. I may not speak any thought so pure it will not be contradicted. Then I must look again and see the rightness of another view point. Endlessly this happens. The paradox is that the wiser I become, the harder it becomes to see that I am not wise at all. We think we know. We become sure. But the opposite of anything I say may also be true. |
