Obsession of any kind has a tendency to block spiritual efforts.
If there is anything that has to be had, be it drugs, alcohol, sex, cigarettes, you name it, money, recognition, victory, a particular relationship, whatever, it will form a barrier to the experience of genuine love of another or of God.
Don't try to get the attention of someone in the throes of obsessive behavior.
It will absolutely kill you. You can't help them until they crash and burn
from their own madness. Rescuing prolongs the agony for everyone.
These are the crazymakers, storms passing through our lives.
They appear to listen to reason, even speak intelligently, and then go straight out and repeat the same behavior.
The rule is: Take care of yourself. Be the example.
Don't obsess about crazymakers, no matter who they are to you.
Find wholeness within. Heal yourself. Make your own life beautiful.
Close your eyes, love, pray, and let go.
