"Forgiveness is not about condoning wrong doing.
It's about clearing your own psyche.
Every wrong act has consequences that in some sense
cannot be undone, even if it's only the fact that it
wasted some time that can never be replaced.
We might even insist that some act was unforgivable.
Even though something may arguably be unforgivable,
it's a good idea to forgive anyway.
Resentment is a poison far worse than we realize.
Holding on to resentments, grudges, waiting for
revenge is not a good idea.
Healing is good. Accepting amends is good. We do the
best we can.
Without forgiveness we are all doomed.
The more you hold on to resentments the more you doom yourself, because one thing is certain: you are not
without fault.
Lightening up on others relieves the burden on us.
