I wrote about something a number of days ago, but I want
to write about it again and give a little more in depth
description. I call this the "two by two" downline building
system. As soon as I can find the time, I intend to write
an e-book on this system.
This system requires some committment and effort, but it
will result in a strong downline being built in a fairly
short period of time.
One of the things that frustrates people in building a downline
is their goal setting. Set you goals in small steps that you
can see accomplished. Instead of setting a goal of having 10
first level referrals or having a downline of 30,000, set a goal
to get only 2 referrals in a week. If you concentrate on this
small goal, you will accomplish it.
Now, for the "two by two" system:
Week 1. Get 2 referrals, and only 2 referrals. Welcome them,
get them set up in the programs, get to know them, and
explain what you are going to do together.
Week 2. Work with those 2 new referrals to get them each 2
referrals. This is easier than the first week, as there are now
3 of you and you are only looking for a total of 4 new referrals.
Again, work with your 2 referrals to welcome the new people,
get them into the programs, and explain what you are going to
do together.
Make sure that you allow your first 2 referrals to take the lead
with their new referrals. You want to HELP them do this, not do
it FOR them.
Week 3. Now you have 2 first level referrals and 4 second level
referrals; a total downline of 7. This week, all seven of you
are working to get a total of 8 new referrals -- 2 for each of
your second level people. Now, each of these 8 new referrals
should be welcomed, help them to get into the programs, and
explain what you will all be doing together.
This week, you are taking a lesser role in all this (you are
training your downline to work themselves). You help your 2
first level referrals to allow the 4 second level referrals
take the lead in the welcome, etc. They only help them do this
themselves, so they can then train their first level people.
Week 4. Your 2 first level referrals now take over your role,
and you advertise and get 2 more first level referrals --
beginning the cycle again. You simply do the 3-week cycle over
and over.
Now, before you say that it will take forever to build a downline
this way, let me assure you that it won't. Moreover, by working
closely with your first and second level referrals, training them,
teaching them to help their referrals, you will have fewer inactive
people, you will find those that need replacing much faster, and
your downline will be much more stable.
This system, if followed, is capable of producing a downline of
994 people in only 8 weeks, and in 12 weeks, a downline of
30,798. Now, will it, in fact, produce 30,798 referrals in 12
weeks?? Probably not, as some will not work (but more will
because of the personal attention), some will drop out, some
weeks you may fall short a referral or two.
But, if it is only 30% effective, that is a downline of over 9,000
in 12 weeks, and that is more than enough for you to "fire your
boss".
Read this again, then again, then one more time -- make sure
you understand the principle. Then realize that reading it and
understanding it won't get the job done. You have to DO IT!!
If you don't have 2 first level referrals, get them in the next
7 days. Dont waste time asking, "but what if I can't get them?".
Just DECIDE and DO IT! Don't let anything stop you for getting
those 2 referrals! If you just don't know how, ask your sponsor,
if he/she cant/wont help you, ask their sponsor, go to the chat
rooms, go to LiveSupport, whatever, just make up your mind and
get them. And guess what?? When you do, you will KNOW that
the next week, the three of you CAN get the next 4. Your
conviction will motivate and inspire those new referrals that
they can as well.
If you already have 2 or more first level referrals, pick 2 of
them and go after their 4. You CAN do it, the only question is,
WILL you do it?
If you commit to this for 15 weeks (and don't tell me how long
15 weeks is, tell me how short 15 weeks is compared to the results
for the rest of your life is), you will have 10 trained, motivated
people on your first level and a downline that will earn you a
substantial living for the rest of your life.
Now, STOP! Think, is this commitment worth what it can accomplish
for you?.....................Still thinking? OK...................
Have you decided??
If you have decided that it is, then do it. If you decided that it
is not, then do yourself a favor and save yourself, your sponsor and
the people who would depend on you for guidance, and motivation
a lot of trouble and send me an email asking that your account be
deleted.
WHOA!!!! does that sound harsh?? -- Honestly, people, it is not. All
this business takes is a decision and committment -- it is not rocket
science, you don't have to have a business degree, you don't have to
be a marketing expert, or anything like that -- you just have to
decide, then set a small goal and do it. I don't want any of you to
quit, I want all of you to make it, I really do.

sure you get the help you need to do it -- fair enough?? Let's do this
