* Will of Jennie Blair Woodruff: "I, Jennie Blair, wife of L M Woodruff, Delhi, Delaware Co., NY State, being of sound mind but not sound physically and in my 65th year and knowing that in the natural order of things I can not live always in the flesh to take care of material things, I bequeath to my dear husband my stock in the G L Richards Pub Co. Also that in the People's US Bank together with all the real estate I may be possessed of at the time of my death. To my dearly beloved niece, Miss Jospehine Haviland, my gold watch and chain also her choice of three books from both the bookcase in the hall and that in the dining room. To my dear granddaughter, Ruth H Woodruff, I bequeath the gold banded China tea set which was her great grandmother Merrill Woodruff's when she began housekeeping in 1832. I wish Ruth to have the four rush bottom chairs which were her great great grandmother Woodruff's, if she cares for them. If not, I wish Florence Woodruff's oldest son to have them. I also would like Ruth to have the upholstered chair in the dining room which was given to her grandmother Merrill Woodruff, more than 60 years ago by and uncle Byah Woodruff, who was a cabinet maker in New Haven at the time, also the childs rocker given to her grandfather at the same time, by the same person. I also wish Ruth to have the Child's white bedroom suite and small white rocker now in the kitchn and all the other chairs except the Boston rocker which was her great grandfather's. I wish William to have. If Ruth does not want these chairs, I give them to Edna Conklin. To my dear niece, Mrs Nellie Blair Cook, I bequeath all my wearing apparel from hats to shoes, coats, jackets, dresses, skirts, underwear, stocking, night clothers, everything. To my dear sister Catherine, I give my father's and Mother's enlarged pictures.
