| The Magie/Megie Family of Elizabethtown and Westfield, NJ descends from John McGhie, an immigrant from Scotland. Many of his children and grandchildren married the descendants of John Woodruff of Elizabethtown and Joseph Woodruff of Westfield. The book, Magie Family History , by William Magie Jr. may be found in the Elizabeth, NJ Public Library, Historical Section. Only the Magies descendants who are connected with the Woodruffs are listed here. 1.
