| It started with a blinding flash Blue lightning sphears streak the sky And the air became dense yet cold The feeling I felt without description But a bridge to this new beginning. I thought everything would be in place I never thought this would be a race for time Against the blizzard that moved in I was blinded by the storm And muted by the sound. I wish I could say what's on my lips Though rose colored, frozen tight And say the words that feel right. Instead snow becomes rain And rain becomes tears Defrost this cold feeling Free me from myself I know you have to leave I wish that wouldn't be Kiss my frozen lips And cut me from this bind So I can let you know I'll Follow you for all of time |
