Wrestler:Stan "The Man"Staziak

Biography:Stan "The Man" Staziak was feared by many competitors in EAW from the late 40's till even now. Stan Staziak has been a Professional Wrestler since 1950 so nearly 50 Years he has been Wrestling in the mats,At age 66,Stan Staziak still occasionally wrestles in a wrestling match. 1987,Stan Staziak set a record of being the first Wrestler with a 100 straight victories. However,Last May,Tommy Dreamer wrestled Staziak for the Intercontinental Title. Dreamer retained it and ending Staziak's 50 Year Winning Streak 152-0. Now he is 153-1. He defeated Dreamer in another match but did not win the title. Everyone who watches EAW and went to events saw a historical fued between Stan "The Man" Staziak and Gorgeous George,Now deceased,said he was going to end Staziaks winning streak but it never happened. Stan "The Man" Staziak should be remembered as one of the Greatest competitors to ever step into the ring.

Biography:Bob Backlund,probably the most biggest heel anyone could imagine of. Backlund would have you trusting him for a while then he would turn on you. Backlund had a great personality which made everyone love to hate him. Bob Backlund won the World Championship 3 Times and won the Television Championship twice. July 24,1952, Backlund achieved his dream by defeating Hulk Hogan and winning the EAW Championship. 11 months later,At EAW King Of The Throne,Backlund said at EAW King Of The Throne,whoever won the tourament would become the World Champ. Whoever won the tourament would get a Title Match with Backlund,Mike Hennig was the lucky winner and got a shot at the Title. In a match that lasted 45 minutes,the Fresh 100% Backlund just beat Hennig from Pillar to Post and out of nowhere,Hennig got an inside cradle on Backlund and got the victory and the Championship. Backlund would not take this loss lying down,Because at EAW Survivor Series,Mr.W defeated Hennig and won the World Title thanks to help from Bob Backlund. It took Backlund 12 years to regain his Championship because on January 24,1965,Backlund won a Royal Rumble contest by defeating Jake "The Snake" Roberts by throwing him over the top rpe and winning the World Championship for the 2nd Time!! Backlund had a very sucessful 3 Year Title reign. Bob Backlund had the title for 3 Years. That reign was about to come to a close as many thought because Backlund had to battle Staziak for the Title!! Backlund and Staziak had a 60 minute Iron Man Match. Staziak had 1 fall and so did Backlund. Staziak hit his patunetud Underhook Suplex and pinned Backlund but Backlund reversed into a Mahistrol Cradle with 10 secs to go and got the victory with 5 secs left. Backlund retained the title!! Backlund's reign was going great defeating everyone in his path. He defeated greats such as the Iron Sheik,Hulk Hogan,Bruno Sammartino,Stan Staziak,Greg Valentine,and others. The only man he hadn't faced was the Late Great Peter Maivia. Maivia challenged Backlund for the World Championship at EAW's first ever PPV Event "The Wrestling Classic" On March 16,1969 in a 20 foot Steel Structure,The HELL IN A CELL. The Match was built for an injury. The bout lasted 2 hours. 2 Hours of bloodshed and violence and neither man calling it quits until Maivia hit the Somoan Drop to Backlund on thumbtacks!! Maivia then got the pin and the 3 count and ended backlunds 3 Year Long reign as World Champ!! The fans gave both superstars a standing ovation in what might be the best wrestling match in that time-period. Bob Backlund retired from EAW in 1972 and wrestling because he achieved everything he had possibly wanted. Backlund should go down in EAW History as the most charismatic superstar and therefore has earned the right to enter the Hall Of Fame.

Biography:Many considered Peter Maivia one of the Best Wrestlers of All Time,he is our 3rd Entrant into our Hall Of Fame. He is nicknamed "The Late Great Peter Maivia". He is the Father of a 2 Time EAW AND WWF Ic Champ. He is a Grandfather of 5 Time WWF Champ and former EAW Wrestler "The Rock". Early 1951,Peter Maivia was a young teenager and was always setting up rings at Indy events and paid his dues alot and he got into EAW and became a Top star over the Years. Peter Maivia was considered a Curtain Jerker or a Jobber in the Early 1950's. He busted his ass so many times to earn peoples respect. 1955,he finally made it on his 1st ppv event. He was scheduled to wrestle in the middle of the card against Billy "The FlyBoy" Harrison. It was this match that people finally realized that Maivia had potential. He got a chance to wrestle in bigger matches. And his matches with "FlyBoy" were Awesome and were fought all over the country. Maivia got the chance on a EAW Monday Night Show called Massacre to wrestle in a Battle Royal and the winner would get a shot at the TV Title at a huge event called "The Clash". Maivia won the battle royal against 9 other guys and was the first entrant and threw out Buddy Rogers over the top rope to get a Tv Title Shot. Rick Rude was the reigning TV Champ at the time and was not very happy he had to defend against Peter Maivia. It was August 5,1958,Maivia and Rude battled it out. The fans were obviously behind Maivia. Rick Rude is a classic heel. Rude,unfortunately,passed away a year and a half ago. Rude and Maivia traded lefts and rights. Rude caught Maivia with a neckbreaker that effected Maivia's career,he still continues to wrestle today and his neck is still bothering him from Rude's neckbreaker. Despite all the pain he was in he got up and beat the hell out of Rude. He then caught Rude with a Samoan Drop. He covered him and got a nearfall. Rude and Maivia double clotheslined each other. The ref got hit on the way. This gave Rude time to capitalize and he pulled out a foreign object that is still unknown today as what he pulled out. He then smacked Maivia with it!! He covered Maivia and got the 3 count and this was one of Maivia's toughest losses. Peter Maivia,however would not back down. He challenged Rude to another TV Title Match. Rude wouldn't accept,so one night when Rick Rude was battling King Kong Bundy in a Non Title match,Peter Maivia interfered,costing Rude the match but he held on to his TV Title. Rude got mad at Maivia and accepted his challenge finally after 2 years of hiding from Maivia. EAW Commisioner Buddy Rock ordered the Match at "The Clash" PPV Event,Just 3 Years after there last encounter. Rude Lost the TV Title and regained it back during that 3 Year period and said that he is going to injure Peter Maivia seriously and Injure his neck even more. They battled and battled everywhere in the ring. Maivia then hit his Big Somoan Drop but Steve Heetin,Rude's manager,pulled the ref out of the ring to earn Rude a DQ,Rude held onto his Title. But Maivia really didn't want the Title,He wanted a piece of Rick Rude only. And he beat him. 1964,Peter Maivia and Rude were at it again but this time in a Steel Cage Match for the TV Title. Rude and Maivia engaged which what many thought would be there last match against one another. It was Brutal! They rammed each others faces into the Cage. And then Maivia HIT RUDE WITH HIS SOMOAN DROP! Maivia was about to climb out until he remembered a child hood memory of his favorite wrestler HayStack Calhoun jump off the Top Rope and Hit a Devasting Flying Elbow on Gorgeous George in 1946. Maivia was about to hit it until Steve Heetin,Rude's manager tripped him and his knee hit the Cage top and fell 15 FEET OFF THE Cage into the RING on his NECK!! This allowed Rude to hit the "Rude Awakening" and walked out of the Cage with the TV TITLE!! Maivia was out of action for 2 Years. From 1964-1966. JULY 1966. Rick Rude,No Longer the TV Champion,was taking on Stan "The Man"Staziak. Maivia made a Triumphant RETURN!! HE RAN OUT WITH A CHAIR!! He smacked Rude in the HEAD AND NECK!!! He then Smacked Heetin!! Maivia then gave Heetin and Rude tremendous right hands and left and challenged them to a 2 on 1 Handycapped Match to end this over 6 Year fued. It was at "The Clash"PPV once again in which Maivia destroyed Rude and Heetin with a Tremendous Historical Double Somoan Drop and covered Rude to get the VICTORY which finally settled this 6 year fued from 1961-1967. Peter Maivia in 1968 decided to have Knee surgery to repair a bad knee and vowed when he came back in 1969 that he is going to win the World Title from "The Classic"Champion,Bob Backlund called himself. He still held the Title in high hopes going into 1969 to be The Greatest EAW World Champion of All Time. Peter Maivia took on "Hard Hitter"Jim Leyritz in a match that would determine who gets a World Title Match against Backlund. Maivia beat Leyritz in a quick 47 second bout! Right after the Match Backlund came down and attacked Maivia!! It was scheduled March 16th,1969,MSG,NY, March Madness PPV, World Championship,Bob Backlund(World Champ) vs. Peter Maivia(challenger),Hell In The Cell!! Maivia and Backlund fought back and forth!! They slammed each others head into the cell!! Maivia and Backlund somehow broke out of the Cell!! They climbed to the VERY TOP and then Maivia gave Backlund perhaps the Biggest Somoan Drop in the history of wrestling through the cage and into the RING!!!! Maivia's hand was across Backlunds chest which made a cover and the 3 count!!!! Maivia won the World Title!!! Maivia achieved his dream!!!! Maivia was annpunced the NEW Champion!!! This is why we announce Maivia into the EAW Hall Of Fame!!! Maivia,The Great Somoan,The Great Myth,Peter Maivia ended his career and retired August 5,2000 in his Farewell match losing the 11 Way making a 1 match return to EAW,Maivia was a True Champion and a True Man.

Wrestler:Tommy Dreamer

Biography:Never was the World Champ, He is been put in the Hall of fame with Honor. 163 Strait victorys undefeated. Beating Stan Staziaks Record and the Record breaker was when they were fighting. He then gained 10 victorys then got Defeated for the first time ever by Mr. Splea. Simply Dreamer is one of the top 4 Elite men in ALL of EAW History. Dreamer battled And fought injured, Kept fighting every second he could. He was known for Every match he fought but one of the Most Classic, A 30 Minute Iron Man match against Stan Staziak for the ALL Time Best Record at Wrestle Fest in June of 2000. The match was hard fought, It began with Staziak up 1-0 Dreamer inserted an Atomic Drop followed by a Flying Elbow to tie it up. The match went on and became more furious and Elite. They fought up to 4-3 with 7 Minutes left. Dreamer and Stan both executed a Fall up to 5-4 with 3 minutes leftDreamer gets a HUGE FALL 5-5 With 30 Seconds Left Dreamer Executes the Dreamer DDT. 1-2-NB Pulls ref out!!!!! JR Jim Ross runs down to pay NB Back. Slaps him across the face and punches the Corporation out. Dreamer gets a NEW DREAMER DDT OFF THE TOP ROPE. Gets the 3 Count and DREAMER GOES DOWN IN EAW History. Dreamer fought well in his career but no match was as hard as this. There was bloodshed,Battering,Beatings,Finishing Moves, Internal blood loss,Blood Spill. CARNAGE!! I Have not seen a match before that one that could even compare to that match with Everything those men worked for their Whole EAW Career on the Line in that matchup. Dreamer is going down in EAW History as the Most Furious. Brave men ever to Grace an EAW Ring. Dreamer you left us with some excellent moments, and since you are still in EAW you can give us even more. Quite Frankly what im saying is Dreamer is one of the Best Excellent Wrestlers EVER in EAW History. Dreamer holds the record of the most Wins without losing with a Unbelieveable record of 163 wins and 0 Losses until August 5th when Dreamer lost. I Am ending this Entry. Biography-Hulkamania was born in 1962 and followed wrestling ever since he was 6 Years old and witnessed the Late Great Peter Maivia in action and winning the World Title,as a matter of fact, he hitch hiked to MSG to see his hero Peter Maivia go for the Gold against Bob Backlund that faithful night. He "scalped" a front row seat for $60 and saw his hero do the one of the biggest moves in EAW History,a Somoan Drop off the Top of the Cell and through it and pinning and winning the Championship. Young Hank(His real name) decided that this is what he wanted to do with his career. So his training started out in 1971 when he attended the Legendary Stu Hart's Dungeon and trained and learned painful submission holds. Hulkamania was so good that in 1975,4 Years of working,he became pro and worked for CWA and worked as the name Hank Hulka in CWA. Hulka made really no success in CWA(Central Wrestling Alliance),and in 1978,after 3 years of being jobbed he got a contract offer from EAW to work in th Farm League,Hogan accepted and after half year of being a nobody and working hard in te wrestling world,Hank got his FINAL TEST on a Episode of Late Nite and defeated his opponent Hipolito Rector to earn a spot on the EAW Roster May 17,1978. Hulkamania got ranked on by EAW Superstars backstage such as Bob Backlund and Jim Leyritz. Hulkamania engaged in a fued with Leyritz and got a World Title #1 contender Match. Hulkamania beat the hell out of Leyritz and earned himself a DQ when using a chair. Hulkamania had a Big Temper problem and snapped and that earned him a DQ. Hulkamania decided to enter a battle royal which whoever won got a Title Match October 19,1980 at Halloween Haunting and faced off with Current Great World Champ Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. No one would quit,both men crowd favorites. Hulkamania then out of nowhere caught a rollup on Steamboat and Won the World Title!!!!! From then on,Hulkamania dominated the Ranks holding the World Title for a NEW RECORD 3 YEARS AND 2 MONTHS, Also,Hulkamania captured the TV Title on November 16,1980!!! Hulkamania's Reign as TV Champ was short lived because back then,you were allowed to only have 1 belt,and he had to keep the World so he forfeited the TV Title.Perhaps the Greatest World Champ of All Time,Hulkamania. One man who got alot of World Title Matches were Mr.T,he just could not beat Hulkamania,so on January 12,1983,Mr.T attacked Hulkamania and broke his leg putting him out of action and causing him to forfeit the Title and put it up for grabs in January's Royal Rumble. Mr.T won the Royal Rumble coming in as Entrant 10 and hung in there for the rest of the way to capture the World Title!! Hulkamania had surgery on left leg. Hogan was out of action for 1 year. He came back January of 1984 with a vengeance. By now Mr.T had lost the Title and officials decided to have the World Title on the line in a KOTT Tournament which Hulkamania won back in 3 Victories over Giant Warrior,Mr.T,and Jim Leyritz. Hogan had the Title for another Year and a half. In January he was defending this time in a grueling Royal Rumble contest which he got eliminated in the Final 2 which he lost to The Ringmaster. Hulkamania decided to retire which he called a Complete Career in just 7 years. He made a return in 1997 to EAW and continues to be The Corporation's Bodyguard.

Wrestler:Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka

Biography:SUPERFLY Snuka will go down as one of the greats in EAW History, He applied the first ever JUMP OFF THE TOP ROPE AND STEEL CAGE, And also was the 1st EVER EAW World Champion,Eventually became to be a 2 TIME EAW World Heavyweight Champion, a 2 TIME EAW Television Champion, and an all time GREAT EAW Wrestler, This man has spilled his heart and teared his sole out, in Interview segments and HARD Fights, GRUELING BATTLES, I Would say, THE MOST GRUELING, had to be that 39 Minute FINAL ROUND in the 1949 Tournament for the EAW Title, whoever won was the first champ, In the final round, HE battled, a Classic battle against Stan "The Man" Staziak, There was drama,excitement,intensity,bloodshed, and Heroic moves that would stun the crowd. Heres how it went, Both men started grappling then Staziak controled the match, with uppercuts, atmoic dromps and all the scientific maeuvers he could stir up. Then Snuka countered with Backbreakers,Neckbreakers,Bodybreakers,Shoulderbreackers, AND hard rights and lefts, Still nobody would stay down, then UNBELIEVABLY Snuka hit a bodyslam, then went to the top rope, Staziak got up and SNUKA FLEW THROUGH THE AIR WITH A DIVING PLANCHA, and became the first to fly through the air in the squared circle, Yet the match still had no winner, Fighting and battleing on, 24 minutes into the match, GRUELING Punishment was delivered, Blood ran through the ring, Yet neither man would quit or stay down for the 3, All of a sudden, About 14 minutes later, Staziak had Snuka in a Dragon Sleeper,Snuka delivered a Insiguri, then climbed the ropes again and delivered a 450 DIVING SPEAR then a Snuka Elbow for the 3 Count. Snuka was one of the greats in EAW History. Winning and Glory was everything to him, He was also a kind man outside the squared circle, and a Classic wrestler, This ends Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka's Great Bio, Snuka we will always remember you and remember you as one of the Bravest Athletes in EAW History.
