GUIDES TO ALL TYPES OF BUILDINGS
Description:
Land is gained by exploring or regular attacks. Until you have at least 2000 acres it is far easier to explore for land than to capture it and usually faster. After your nation passes 2000 acres till about 5000 it is a question of taste as to how to gain land fastest. The effects described are for all land.
Effects: The effects of land are many. Population can increases by 24 to 5 per acre depending on taxes and technology. Each acre is worth 95 in networth. Adding a building increases the networth to 165(=95+70). Increasing land increase construction cost, decreases technologies effect and affects many types of buildings. I'm haven't described all the effects.

Empty Land
Description: Same as Land except food is grown. Try and keep the amount of empty land to a minimum.
Effect: Increases food production by 4 to 8 depending on agricutural tech

Enterprise Zones
Description: Increase the PCI.
Effect: 25% of land covered by Enterprise zones, PCI 150% above original, 50%:200%, 75%:250%, 100%:300%. Your PCI increases based on the percentage of land covered by Enterprise Zones.

Residences
Description: Place for population to live.
Effect: 3 times as many people can live in Residences as can live on land. 48 to 10 more population can live on your land after adding 1 residence.

Industrial Complexes
Description: Build military. These are the best way of producing military.
Effect: Each industry built can produce about 4 troops OR 3.5 jets/turrets OR 1 tank OR 1.5 spy

Military Bases
Description: Lowers the cost of military purchases. Could be used to make a killing in selling to the market. Other wise useless.
Effect: 50% of land covered by Military Bases, Cost of military is 75%, 100%:50%. For every 2% of land covered by Military bases the price to purchase military decreases by 1%.

Research Labs
Description: Increase the amount of research you can do.
Effect: Produces between .2 and .4 tech each, depending on percentage of land covered. Thanks Daniel Wahlqvist

Farms
Description: Increases food production. 1 farm feeds 450 to 900 people depending on technology.
Effect: Increases amount of food produced by 45 to 90 bushels depending on tech (Monarchy).
Construction Sites
Description: Increases the amount of Construction that can be done.
Effect: Every 3 construction sites built increase the amount of buildings that can be built per turn by 1. (If you want to be able to construct 10 more buildings per turn, build 30 construction sites)
Oil Rig
Makes oil which is needed to be used when attacking a countrie. Jets and tanks need this oil. Only need a couple of these. It is cheaper to buy off the market then to build these buildings.

Purpose of Section
This section is designed to be a more understandable version of the formulas. I have receive several emails saying the formulas are not understandable. I hope this section clears up some of the mystery. The formulas are more accurate since I have oversimplified several times.
