| Adam Petty. Born, July 10, 1980. Died, May 12, 2000. Adam was scheduled to run 5 races this year in Winston Cup competition, but he only ran one. That one race made him the first 4th generation athelete in American sports history. He was going to race full time next year in Winston Cup, and his next race this year would have been at Charlotte in the Coca-Cola 600. Let's remember the person who could have been the next great racer, Adam Petty. |
