| Applications are currenlty being accepted for umpires wishing to participate with the August 2007 tour & future tours of Australia. This is not a financial opportunity, as umpires are required to pay all their own expenses for the trip, but rather a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience Australia as no tourist could ever dream of. American umpires will work alongside Australian umpires in international games between the USA and Australia. In addition, they will cultivate new firends and contacts through baseball, help promote the game worldwide, and witness many of the great wonders of the "Land Downunder".
